Both are equally hard but I would say brain because you could accidently kill somebody during an operation.

But you could kill several people on yur rocket if you yacht built it properly

but rocket science is studying stuff... both have to do with your brain In Latin the word came from scire "to know." The only way you are going to kill people with rocket science is if you are dangerous person.

Brain Surgery - It is the act of physically doing stuff to the brain.

Rocket Science - The study of rockets

If it was rocket engineer or something like that then it may be different. But as one is the actually doing and one is only the study, brain surgery is harder.

Hundreds of people work together to design and build a rocket, it is much easier to screw up when you're slicing in someone's brain all by yourself with a few assistances who can only watch and hope for you to do it properly.

The brain is infinitely more complex than a rocket, therefore a reckon a brain surgeon would have a tougher go of it.
