"If you have 100M to Auto Conquer a territory worth 5M, you'll still drop to 95M "

ok, i really need some light here please - maybe i should buy me some neurones as i feel i am completely stupid...

In the end what is the point of getting the autoconquer ?

I got 100M of armies for example.

autoconquer will take the 5M territory and i will then have 95M armies.

Now without autoconquer, and with my 100M armies, i choose whether or not i want to take this 5M territory, plus try tn have the benefit of my 25% joint strike.

So the autoconquer is only not to make the click on the territory ? what am i missing please...

In a nutshell, all Auto Conquer does is claim territories for you. Everything else still applies.

For the sake of not over complicating things, my example was just a base example, anything that saves armies still apply if you have them.

Thank you Splat !!!

So again why would i go for the autoconquer if I can do it by myself ? what would be the benefit for me, except not to click the territory i want , that is what i dont understand in factand it grabs yhe lowest value territory in case there are several that could be grabbed. But actually sometimes it is better to wait and get more armies to get money / resource/items etc and then grab the lower one.

really i dont get it but i dont want to bother you or anyone any longer...
think i wont take this autoconquer...

Auto Conquer can help you claim multiple territories at once, which is most useful if they're on opposite sides of the map. Or you can work on one side of the map while Auto Conquer works on the other side. You can always turn Auto Conquer off if you don't want to use it, and back on when you do. You may want to get it anyway, at least the first level, so you can play the other modes in Idle, which both require Auto Conquer.

wait, do you mean that if i am working on the east side of a map, and not present in the west at all, the autoconquer will grab the territory ans thenmake me present other there ?

If there are territories on the west side that it can take, it will take them. Even if you're not looking at them.

It only brings you over there if it claims a territory that finishes a bonus. If it doesn't, it just claims the territory and you stay where you are.

ok, now i see, well i guess so...

so one last time - lets say i start a map of the USA in California and spread a little, then , when the conditions are filled, the autoconquer can grab a territory in Florida where i would be able to play from and spread too ?

It only takes from where you can reach, not just anywhere. If you can manage to get all the way over to Florida straight from California, and there's areas Auto Conquer can reach, and you have enough for it to claim those areas, great, though you might reach Washington faster. In that case, if you started in Sacramento, You could be working towards Seattle while the Auto Conquer works towards Los Angelos.

wow this got active while i'm gone haha. from what i'm reading what makes auto conquer good is the challenges, battles, and it gets to work even when i'm idle.

i didn't think about how it would go ahead and conquer territories i missed. that would be nice, unless it had a negative bonus like that one level haha

Yes Jon , sorry to have interfere in your thead !!!

I think i got it know, while Splat been very very helpful !!
the reason if maybe i dont understand fast and clearly is most certainly due to my english vocabulary.

Still, and not considering the benefit of entering the other modes in idle, i think i prefer to keep of the control of my "attacks" and strategy (if i got one...)

If i may share, dont you think this autoconquer could make the joint strike power null ?
sometimes i conquer a territory before another one i am aiming to, just to gain the JS power, and only after i conquer the next territory ii wanted

dont know if i make myself clear here...

if the autoconquer takes a territory named F for example, which is not connected to 2 territories A and B, there wont be then a Joint Strike advantage...

yes this seems like it would screw up JS. I maxed that upgrade and save a TON with it.

The levels are getting bigger and bigger. Each level usually takes longer than the previous one. Updates modify the average duration of the levels, I didn't keep track how many AP per hour I get, it seems to be slightly above 1AP / hour, if you don't hit the time limit too often.
Regarding autoconquer, I too prefer choosing my own targets, so I keep it off. When returning from idle, I prefer conquering the territories myself - finding them taken by autoconquer doesn't feel like playing.
For the challenges, if you want those 100AP / level, you will find that you have to invest more than you receive. To beat the first challenge with 5% AC, you need +150% army camps (artefacts can help reaching it).

I can definitely understand how coming back to a game and seeing some levels that have already been conquered as not really playing, but I see at least some benefit from that because of completing continents and getting bonuses that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, that would be the case with auto upgrade as well even though I do think the advantages will probably be minimal with them at least partially paying for them self it seems like a good investment

but I think it would be different for everyone, some people probably just play through every level one time where I've been replaying a lot even if the AP gain is minimal because I learn something in my most difficult level and then go back to a particular old level to try that kind of strategy again at a faster speed and see if it helps

I forgot to comment on the example of territories a B & F that was above, I've noticed at least in the levels that I've done, the lowest value territory, which would be the one that auto conquer would take care of first is normally the one most connected to other territories, but then occasionally the low-value territories will surround a high-value territory, but in my normal gameplay I end up clicking the low value territories anyway so if won't change my time too much. I need to get better at letting it wait and conquer the big territories first and use the 25% to conquer the small ones afterwards
