Hello guys, didn't see a specific forum for this so i just decided to make this here in general.

Been playing for a year now, not that many games due to large periods of inactivity but i've been back here for awhile now and can't foresee myself quiting any time soon.

Looking for a clan that is active, uses skype or anything equivalent to it, has fun and most importantly can help me learn the ropes that separate the great from the mediocre.

I'd like to think that i'm around mediocre level as a player and what inspired me to find a clan were the beatings i got every time i actually played someone that can be considered great.
My problem is that most of my games have been against players around my level or lower and that certainly isn't the way to go if i want to improve my gameplay. Which i do.
It's rather obvious for me that i've hit a plateau i can't overcome on my own.

Annoyingly there is no private message option outside actual games, reason why i made this thread.

WG tries to get players that are more intermediate/advanced, but I am always open to trying someone out. Sometimes you can see their potential and maybe with some tips they can get to intermediate/advanced.

Don't get pressured into it, and don't join a clan just because it's "cool" or because all your friends are doing it.

I'm much "newbier" than Silver, but started playing about a week ago because he and another friend (Summer Sadness) have played for a while. I'm not very experienced, at all. Despite this I believe I can can certainly become good if not great with a bit of help, as Silver and I are both top players (99.99% percentile) on the other online game we have both played for years (TribalWars), and the two games have a lot in common in some ways, especially in regards to teamwork and group-play (which as my stats show I've done significantly better in thus far than I have at 1v1 strategic). If there's clans open to potentially promising newbies I'd be interested as well.

The Juggernautts are interested and would like you to consider them! :)....

based on how they play and the fact that you both seem like noobs who probably aren't that good yet, i would recommend either WM or Apex.

As Chris said, [WG] is for solid players, intermediate +. Tryouts consist of playing 3 of us in 1v1s and 2v2s. We're nice people, and even if you were to get slaughtered in tryouts we'd readily give you tips on how to improve. Getting in is no bearing on your win/loss record in tryouts, just normally your grasp on the game. Our questions we ask are more geared towards: 'What level does the player express in their knowledge and gameplay?', 'Does the player have potential to increase their skills quite quickly?', 'Is the player the kind of guy we want to have around?'. Reza was the first member to make it through our tryouts, and it was these areas that he excelled it, despite being beaten a few times. (I forget his win/loss record, but it was either even, or barely winning.)

Checked out Reza, turns out it's an old WL buddy i used to play with quite often back in the days. Good to see he's gotten this far.
