these people who say "yeah everyone talks about hitler but actually stalin killed a lot more people" are the genocide equivalent of people who go on youtube and say "how does this video have only 6 million views when justin bieber has 20m?" (inevitable answer: 'i guess people just have crappy taste in mass murderers ;-)')

personally, i really like the earlier mongol works, my fave genocidal leader was probably tamerlane. also have to mention the rape of nanking which is an all-time classic genocide, definitely in my top three. rwanda is one of the better recent genocides although a little derivative imo

Slammy, I had no intent to start a thread to debate the goodness or badness of Hitler, or any other person except for the trolls that call themselves Hitler and the people that get so worked up about the troll behavior.

But Taxi Driver, going back to your first post, your answer was, "Because he conquered Europe."
Was that an answer to my first question, why so many people call themselves Hitler?

The Lib dems promises were things they would do if they were elected. They were not elected so naturally they didnt have the power to do the things they wanted (and promised) to do. This is the reason the 2 main parties dont court the far left, theyre unrealistically idealistic. People who bitch about how the lib dems let them down and will never vote for them again are only hurting their own interests.
