I've wondered why people get so upset about Hitler and not the other terrible dictators. Glad I'm not the only one to notice the double standard. Pooh I'd have to say your right about them just being trolls. There might be a few who are rasist tards that have romanticised the Nazi party but I bet most are just trolls.

I think the more interesting question is why do people get so pissed about it. Is there another tyrant not linked to the Nazi's that would cause a similar reaction? I doubt it. They must feel like they're making a positive impact or get some sort of gratification out of crying about it.

It is rather sad that so many people think that Hitler was far and away the most sadistic dictator in history. In just the same time period, Joseph Stalin had over 20,000,000 people killed, and yet few people talk about Stalin in as evil of a manner as Hitler.

these people who say "yeah everyone talks about hitler but actually stalin killed a lot more people" are the genocide equivalent of people who go on youtube and say "how does this video have only 6 million views when justin bieber has 20m?" personally, i really like the earlier mongol works, my fave genocidal leader was probably tamerlane. also have to mention the rape of nanking which is an all-time classic genocide, definitely in my top three. rwanda is one of the better recent genocides although a little derivative imo

Slammy, I had no intent to start a thread to debate the goodness or badness of Hitler, or any other person except for the trolls that call themselves Hitler and the people that get so worked up about the troll behavior.

But Taxi Driver, going back to your first post, your answer was, "Because he conquered Europe."
Was that an answer to my first question, why so many people call themselves Hitler?
