And here is your analysis - I feel like JSA now


101st – Drop. Lynx starting means departure of best players. Still some good players in ladders though. Blowfly will lead them to glory.

20 – Remain. Continues to be ‘top’ clan on WL, dominance on RT ladder especially. Also helps that they have a legion of kowtowers.

Ahol – Drop. Do you ever see the AHOL tag on dashboard page these days?

Apex – Rise. Dead Piggy joining and strong performance in current clan league. Also helps that they know latin, makes them think they’re cool/

BIA – Drop. Remnants of CPU clan. Are they a dead clan?

Blitz – Remain. Departure of Swimming Potato. Still one or two good players. Caught cheating in clan league!!! :O

BR- No comment. All I know is that their leader is Mickey Mouse.

French – Remain. One or two strong players, solid performance in clan league.

Gladiator – Remain. Still shamelessly farming wins in those open games.

GG – Rise. A row of players taking #1 on 1v1 ladder recently pushes them high up. Departure of Odin, however.

Illuminati – Rise. Taken over by some war council. Don’t hear from them these days.

LEA – New. A good big clan, emphasising on 5v5 games, dedicated leaders. Reputation would be better without Lawlz and Mysterman though. Since Mysterman has about 3 brain cells and Lawlz just drops negative reputation bombs on every clans without even trying.

LN- Rise. Havent heard much since the RP clan bashing frenzy months ago. Seems to be doing fine.

Lynx – Rise. Apollo continues to charm good players to his clan, not doing very well on clan league, but constant ladder success. Also JSA continues his propaganda lists and posts, not that anyone believes him.

Master – Rise. Took in slammy and okay performance in clan league. TWM is pretty good. MoD also took in #2 on seasonal. Not much success on 1v1 or 2v2 ladder to make them a top clan.

Maxtroll – New. Biggest clan in Warlight. Accepts all the cool trolls, and those with high levels. ;) Trolls and stalls with pride. A few very good players.

REGL – Remain. Good clan leader and clan page. Also Hennns and Min34 on 2v2 ladder brought some glory. Havent heard much otherwise.

RP – Still the most famous clan for roleplay and diplo games. Some people have strange tastes.

S Ninja- No comment. Only thing I know is that one of their players have been level 19 for the last 300 years, think his name is gg or something.

T4R- Drop. Surrendered to Alliance. WWII over.

VIW- Remain. Havent heard much from clan. Many good players though, chicken, awesomeguy, pushover etc

Warlighters – Rise. Most hardcore clan leader in WL. A few good players, though they’re mostly alts (nauz, robin hood etc). Panda is bringing them glory.

WG - Drop. Little performance in any ladders these days. Solid performance in clan league. However, getting overtaken by other clans. Chris will think something up.

WM – Remains. Little performance in any ladders too. However Gnuffone winning the seasonal and dominating RT ladder brings them up.

XCD – Drop. Slammy left. Jehovah and Gentleman are good players to name but a few.

XS- Rise. Kenraali is a recent top 10. Ra is a very good player and mapmaker also.

This is purely base on recent ladder performance, and, well, it's the ladder.

Aside from that, seems nice.

And you're a stubborn fool. I'm not in WL, nor would I join WL, ever. Silver's played WL longer than me, I'm certainly not his alt. Hell, I'm on the 2v2 ladder and 1v1 ladder right now on THIS account, you can watch the games and see we play nothing alike.

Agreed. Gnuff alone is not enough to be placed on the top shelf.

And apex is on par with 20, in fact 20 would instantly recruit half the clan if they would join.

Bleh, Pulsey, I think you have as many errors as JSA! :P Warning, harsh and probably incorrect opinions follow...

GG has very good players but is overrated and declining IMO. JV in particular though has gotten way better! I would put them into tier 2, not tier 1.

Apex and WG (counting only their top players) are better than you give them credit. Tier 1 instead of tier 2. I would argue that Apex might be the best clan in warlight. But clan league will decide that :) As for WG, they probably have the largest difference in skill from top to bottom of the top clans.

In your strong clans category, one clan (Master) is not like the others (AHoL/XS) and should be rated higher. Blitz should be in this group I think.

XCD and 101st should not be in skilled clans category. Definitely overrated. Clan league will show this.

French Community should be in the "large clan" category, in that they have awesome players as well as pretty terrible players. Which is cool cause that's how VIW is, not all of us need to be competetive :P I think you may be underrating VIW but we will see how clan league turns out. Group B is tough tho.

Warlighters are definitely underrated, and you haven't been paying attention to their changing membership. They've trimmed the fat and acquired some good players. Again, clan league will show this.

I think you should group BR with the large clan category. Giovanni and Furacao in particular are quite good. They just don't care about being competetive in clan league i think :P

I think you are off base on WG. We are not down on ladders, just not participating much. Tenshi placed 3rd in last season with two suspected or known cheaters ahead of him. Summer is always near top of strat ladder. Some are playing alts instead on ladder, some not at all. We are busy running most leagues on here, nobody has gotten worse (well i am probably worse at strat right now).

Kudos to Pulsey this guide is not the best but it is better than anyone else's, mostly because no one else has tried but still

I concur Myagi probably not the best guide and we all have our biases but Pulsey does know the community to a certain extent perhaps someone else should give it a shot and we can compare the two just to have a different perspective.

Not sure if you guys realized, but I have no affliation with most of the top clans. I have brushes in the past with Blitz, Warlighters, Lynx and Apex. Apart from that, GG doesn’t pay me to put them above WM. Nor do I have any personal reason to underrate WG.

GG has had 3 players take #1 in the last month. No clan has such success recently.

WG has only one player coming in and out of top 10 these few months, the only thing that made me consider them as a top clan last time was them winning the clan league, which they arent doing so far.

WM doesn’t have much success either. But Gnuffone winning Seasonal and #1 on RT keeps them an elite clan. At least WM has some ladder success recently, compared to the no ladder success of WG. Swimming POtato is also doing well in RT and 1v1.

The best of Apex players are semi-retired. The most active members these days are Dead Piggy, Frank, Wid, Miyagi, Lolowut, Noob, with only 1 who has ever taken #1 on the 1v1 ladder. No offense but this team definitely don’t qualify as best on WL.

Ladder wise, GG triumphs over Apex, WG and WM. GG didn’t pay me to say that.

Since most good players these days are in the ‘top’ clans, I thought it would be more appropriate that a relatively good player from none of these best clans make a list. Of course everyone wants to be top. I am possibly biased in a few areas but I think the top part of the list is a pretty fair and accurate represntation of these last few months.

Warlighters probably deserve a bit higher but most of the ‘Prolighters’ are alts, so doesn’t really count.

Lawlz you drop negative reputation bombs on LEA. No debate about that.
