1. As he said in the chat it was never sure that he was winning the game, accually his changes have never been higher than yours. You didn`t see this and you also didn`t check the history to see if he was right.
2. You didn`t behave very good in the chat.
3. Both your picks were not so good (but some good points were ruined by wastelands)
4. You said he doesn`t know that he had the advange over you by stragic points but he knew (wich you didn`t) that Africa isn`t as good as Asia and doesn`t have a advange over it. (The question is why he picked it)

was it really worth wasting everyone's time making a whole topic about this?
not only that but the game makes you look like an idiot, not the other guy :/

Player why did you make this thread?
In order to show everyone how bad you play and pick?
or
In order to show everyone how lame and unpolite you are?
or
In order to let us blacklist you before having ver played with you?

Apparently you care what we think, because you posted this.

I blacklisted you Player, because you have a terrible attitude.

I'm just passer-by. I don't know either of the players.

I think "nonsense" lost becoz he picked a territory with less sustainable development only. This makes him lose mainly.

But he did it good in breaking the bonus of "player" and threaten him.

It is hard to judge who is better or worse by the victory of only one game.

"Luck factors" are always there except the "luck ratio" at the game setting. Who got the first move? a choice of jumping to A or B or a choice of defending A or B.

It looks funny when someone post it here and claim another guy is bad simply based on the result of one single game. I strongly recommend "nonsense" "player" to play the rematch(es).

Cheers,

after reading further, [REGL]Min34 simply saying what I think but he managed in a more organised analysis.

Cheers.

For future reference player, be more humble in a hard fought victory. He made some terrible moves allowing you to come away with a win, whats even more astounding is he was able to predict your location where as you knew nothing of his whereabouts until he was on you. Had me a couple moves better that would've been an easy victory for him, you are not better than him he simply made silly mistakes probably due to thinking he had already won a couple turns before he had it locked down. based on both of your playing styles id say he'd win around 60 out of 100 games against you, i mean really. Who makes 7 picks in a strategic 1v1? you play in a very silly manner :)

I think I understand why nonsense made the picks they did. Africa as a whole can only be entered from five territories and two of them are in the Middle East. (Only when compared to how many territories can enter Asia.) The Wastelands were placed in several spots that made it hard to attack. France prevents entry for most of the north (which would have been better if Scandinavia and WR were good picks), Nigeria prevents entry into Africa from Brazil and Central America while making it less likely that Player would have picked West Africa, and Siple makes Antarctica a bad pick (Blocking most of the south and a second option from Brazil). The risk comes from the other player taking picks in Australia and, especally, the Middle East. Since nonsense did not pick up the first-turn bonus, an attack from the Middle East would have likely ripped through Africa.

For this game, the major problem came from the lack of blockades in Asia. This, combined with the United Kingdom being the only non-wasteland territory connecting the Americas to the rest of the world, prevented nonsense from getting in a quick strike. (However, most of this game is unusual with the placement of wastelands that it makes it hard to compare to other games.)

I should have double checked the game before I posted that. Alaska was a second way that connected the Americas to the World. Thus, a pick in Canada, which is usually never a good idea and already unlikely, would have been an option to enter into the World from the Americas.

What i thought:

Picks:
Nonsense's picks were horrible. All 3 picks clustered, and the only chance he could expand was from middle east.
Player's starts were actually quite decent, in my opinion, His east russia and central russia combo was a safe combo, his west china start was also a effective counterpick if his opponent decided to go for India and East Russia.

Expansion:
Nonsense was VERY unlucky not to be able to secure west africa on the first turn, since that was the reason he picked all those 3 clustered picks. Nonsense expanded quite well, he knew where his opponent was and had no other chance to expand, so it was smart for him to use all his armies to take Player by surprise.

Player was quite efficient in conquering central russia. Maybe i'm wrong, but i think it was unwise to go for east russia and west china on turn 3 at the same time. I would have gone for india, and than east china. When the two players found each other, player did not use the extra armies he had to get much needed cards, instead deciding to transfer them forward.

IN my opinion, Player won because his picks were much, much better. Nonsense, on the other hand, expanded better, though it couldnt make up for his shit picks
