Who has invested in the phase 2 AP advancement "Increased AP"?

Interested in knowing the costs of the upgrades after the initial buy-in cost of 1218 AP for +5% AP. I'm trying to assess how effective this upgrade is and how long the ROI will take. If you only do the initial buy-in, ROI occurs after earning 24360 AP. That's a lot of AP to earn just to break even, and also coincides with the amount of AP required to spend in phase 3 to unlock phase 4.

Has anyone maxed it out to 25%?

I know the 2nd upgrade costs 200 AP to get to 7%, but not sure what the upgrades for 9%, 11%, 13%, 15%, 17%, 19%, 21%, 23% and 25% are, which will greatly determine how much value this AP advancement actually has.

I'll update this list as people provide info.

Upgrade & AP cost:
5%, 1218 AP
7%, 200 AP
9%, TBD
11%, TBD
13%, TBD
15%, TBD
17%, TBD
19%, TBD
21%, TBD
23%, TBD
25%, TBD
TOTAL: TBD

It's just such an investment to unlock it in the first place. I "know" that it's the right move in most games like this but the entry level has such a cost barrier I'm struggling to save for it.

1)
Have you made any calcs to see if the Advancement is actually worth it? (generating more AP than you paid for it)

2)
Not sure that math works. L2 I can see now costs 200 AP. Your formula 10+50*L would make it 10+50*2=110.

Unless you meant 100+50*L? Then 100+50*2=200 which aligns.

If this latter formula is correct, then total upgrade cost is 5468 AP, and the break-even ROI point is 21872 AP. Assumption is that you upgrade to max all at once, then earn 21872 AP, so obviously most people won't be able to do that.

Assuming most continue upgrading after earning ~500 AP after completing subsequent maps, the ROI becomes 32500 AP, which is a hell of a lot of AP.

AP from levels decreases fast enough that there's a max amount of AP you can ever get from the levels. Unless there is an AP floor for each level or some sort of mechanism in phase 4 to stop AP from going down, total AP is capped. I went all in on the AP upgrade because it raises that cap.

DOH! Guess I waited too long to buy it ... now it's so expensive & I've completed so many levels already (though only ~10,000 AP, so really only lost ~) that it's questionable whether it will bring value or not. There's not really enough AP available to reap the benefits of % bonus.

The only way this will truly bring net AP value (to me) beyond just getting ROI despite spending in phase 2 to be able to unlock phase 3 is if more levels are created to generate more available AP to benefit from.
