if plato made his cave analogy in today's world, what would e-relationships and e-identity be in relation to the ephemeral shadows dancing on the cave's walls? if i make a few shadows dance on the forum walls, don't expect to know the essence of the fire's source.

Hmm, I am not sure to which you refer my certainty, though yeah, I am openly arrogant, most people that play with me know that and I never hid it. Although can you link me the game where you "spoon fed" me europe strategy? It must have been a year ago, I don't remember specifics. Anyway I do that sometimes, enforce my ideas on team members or at least push those ideas, but I always accept the consequences and admit when it's my fault. And yes, I overlook some things, but 95% of the time it's because of reasons non-related to warlight, for example taking things not seriously, making auto-moves etc.. It is very amusing, that we both think very similarily of ourselves, since reading the forum I got the impression of "tunnel-vision" from you actually, always assuming you know the motives behind people's actions... And again, what blind certainty are you referring to? If games yeah, I do that sometimes, but I honestly and objectively analyse my losses and wins, otherwise I'd be unable to improve at all. If posts or conversations, please enlighten me. If you ask people I team up with, they'll confirm I am arrogant, but I am open to constructive critique. Internet forum/chat of any kind is not actually the best media to convey ideas, many things are lost in translation. Also one more thing, yeah, I was surprised when I was invited to 8 and at that point I was quite definitely not deserving the spot, but I am not sure it's relevant to anything, nor is you "failing to teach me" (I really would like to re-read the chat, so please give me a link). You forget that everuone's mind works differently, mine for example relates to game-theory much more, maybe that's why I found it much easier and productive to discuss strategy with myhand or Huruey. J Russ, you might suffer from wl-rl confusion. if you think the wl forum is the real me it is funny. in real life i'm polite, respectful, though i never talk with people i find irritating. here, what's the need? it's much more fun to act like an unhinged megalomanaic, and talk with people i find irritating. we come to wl to conquer the world after all, as one of wl's marketing phrases puts it. find a general in any army who doesn't cuss, chest-thump and scratch his balls and i'll find you a general unfit for the job.

but i do enjoy your msn-english, wanna-be righteousness, and overall sissiness. it's a good foil to what i'm doing, especially when you say things that you think are brilliant and expect me to find sissy humor funny while i'm spitting and scratching myself in character. it's all a game. this is the only forum i've ever been and ever will be a part of. i find it humorous for how unreal it is. so i want to add to the insanity to make it more interesting.

You don't understand Gui! No one does! He is not a hypocrite. He never contradicts himself. He's a genius, don't you get that? Everyone else here is a phony coward hiding behind fake names. He's the only one brave enough to hide behind a fake name ON PURPOSE! And he's the only one smart enough to see that you can never be held accountable for anything you write on an online forum that doesn't allow any form of editing and remains available to the general public for at least six months. noob, it's not about who is best. our nearly 100 games together are enough to know the answer to that, if we bothered with that question. it's about loving thy neighbor and making the forum a better, more harmonious place to discuss playing a war game where armies die and genocide is committed until entire peoples surrender their rights or are eliminated.
