I think he meant that in science, the theories change constantly with several improvements (look at how people thought atoms were like over history). However, in Christianity (I don't know if other religions are like this) the beliefs they teach rarely change, despite its flaws. For example, the Bible still mentions that God created the earth in 7 days and animals were created on the last 2 days.

And "Iq charts" are not called bell curves.

Bell curves are an absolute staple of statistics. You can create a graph of IQ results and it will be similar to a bell curve, but bell curves are in no way related to IQ, they're simply a way to project probability.

And no, 100 is not an exact average, it's not like 1500 elo rating on the 1v1 ladder for example, the average IQ has changed over time, whereas the average 1v1 rating will always be 1500.

I'd suggest trying to speak in a less authoritative manner in the future when speaking on topics you know nothing about, it will make you look smarter.

I meant one should question everything about science. It had led us to great wonders. Though science explains a lot to its best ability, we've only scratched the surface. There are things we know that we know, things we know that we don't know, but we should strive to comprehend the things we don't even know that we don't know. As for religion, I believe it's all a misinterpretation. Who says god didn't set us in the path of evolution ? If science and religion strived to bolster one another, the world would be a better place.

You can't doubt facts is what I meant. Sure, science as a whole is easy to doubt, but individual facts are impossible to be doubted because well... They're fact! However, facts can be misinterpreted and read to proving hypothesis that are wrong (Idk, you know what I mean). It's all how it's interpreted. The interpretation is wrong, not the science.

Sure, God may have created all of the intricate processes we're solving now and learning about. Can we prove this? No. Does it matter? Only if we understand everything, which we don't. God could be the final step in the universe explaining equation, but no one is there yet. The idea of a personable God who has human emotions and explicitly created humans and animals for the sake of creating something out of his own image is getting more and more ridiculous as the years go by. Unfortunately of the 3 major religions in the world right now, all 3 claim their God is personable. It doesn't make sense at all.
