Wondering and thinking about this with a mate :), and wondered if everyone else thought the same as us... so thought I'd brainstorm it ;)... so What makes a good clan?

Organisation, good recruitment plan, friendly members and a good name. There are some more......................

The players and nothing else

Just do the opposite of the list below

How to be a bad clan
1. give it a bad name. check
2.A bad leader most preferably low stats especial 1v1. check
3.Decline good players. check
4.Be an elitist clan when you desperately need members. check
5.Spam the forums. Check
6.Have a website or blog no one cares about or vist.check
6.reject criticism and take it as an insult.check
7.Have no or low members.check
8.The leader must have a multi account who is also counted as part of the clan. check
9.Post the same clan list without any updates
10.Do nothing in your clan
11.Mutiny:When you have done this all soon or letter a faction of your clan will split and you will claim they a subdivision or your recruitment office takes over or your leader comes back and kicks a heck load of players out.check

LOL, good one Ironheart. Sure made my day, apart from all those arguments I've gotten myself into. My take on a good clan is a clan where all members are treated equally, of course.

A good clan is happy with itself and does not care about the opinions of outsiders

Everybody here is veery good to criticize, especially Ironhart.
Why don't you try to build up a clan and make it as the opposite of your funny list? We'll talk after 20 days when you will change your name back without the tag.

I agree it is easier said than done but the mistake most clans not taken seriously do is not try and do a lot of them or work towards it and also the leaders try and do everyting alone.

and i dont do everything alone, other members have jobs and i may be implementing a poll system on decisions soon

3. I dont think any good players would want to join (so you're safe there)

6. I dont know if you have a website or not.

10. You could start posting your roster, might be amusing to see who else belongs.

12. If I'm lucky before I retire Nike will command RSP.

Am not saying small elitist clans or that big elitist threads are good am just saying if you want more members then becoming an elitist clan is not the fastest way to get more members since most good player don't join just any clan or none also i was making a joke when arun decided to make warlighters an semi-elitist or was it elitist clan.

Im going to have to agree what makes a good clan is overall the players. but it can also depend on what your going for..

REGL & VIW is clearly about having many players so that you can always have a friend to play with and probably i suspect to help new players get better. and if those are their main goals they have done very well.

i think MC CPU warlighters and dragons are just about having generally reliable players and they have done very well id like to say that i have a few Warlighter members on my blasklist for not bein booted instead of surrenders but i dont know if they are true Warlighters so i dont want to point my finger i havent checked out the clan roster and it seems their is many clan imposters out their

and WM elite RSP are more elitist tipe clans.

i dont think their really is a way to have clans really be better than others since their is no way for clans to be officially accepted in War-light so it all depends on what the players in the clan wish to do with their title. i believe a good clan is an active clan. i used to be in VIW but i wanted to leave because their was nothing to really participate in as a team aside from the occasional 3v3. but they are still a very respectable clan in my opinion

i think it does make sence to have clans just because of the amount of players out their that continously join and leave games without even playing the first move quit/surrender early or make no effort to function as a team in team games. i know it doesnt take a clan to make a player make an effort to play as a team but genrall from what ive seen clan members work together

and i guess i will respond to platy...

RSP being a bad clan is quite opiniated so ill skip that

all the players inside RSP are decent players

i cant imagine why youd want to see our roster but if it is important it shouldnt be to hard ill make a thread for it if anyone else is that interested in seeing who else has earned the RSP logo

- Haven't seen a nonsense thread yet where you're not leading the charge.

I think if you are going to reference elite clans your order should go something like this: Apex, WM, AHoL, Elite, ... warlighters ... coldblood... RSP. You surely are not elite.
