REGLS only clan standard is that you be a friendly player i think

theyre all about just havimg fun and having friends to play with

for REGl there isn`t really something you need to do (I think this has changed, there is now a little test, not sure though) Why wouldn`t you let him into a clan. Why do you need to be good? REGL is also for just playing together.
would it be a kind of discrimination if we don`t let him join while everybody else can join? If it is a fair player it is good enough.

to be honest, it is true that the people joining REGL these days are shabby at best. Him and sovietunion are just some of the players i've seen in the last months. But i simply dont play with them, and just the good players in REGL

ineffable, most clans each have a different joining requirement. While [REGL] is an exception (pretty much anyone can join), most clans have a recruitment match to see wether you are good enough to join. Other have a maximum boot requirement or a minimum games played requirement, like V.I.W.

I wonder - and it is just musing. How many (if any) of the clans have better players than the average warlight player?

yep, the clans which have players betters then average are ahol, apex, elite, wm, maybe rp and rsp, and maybe a few others too.

My opinions on the rankings of the skill of the average clan member for each clan from best to worst: apex, AHoL, WM, Elite, P and CPU and RP are about even, VIW, REGL, Warlighters...There are others such as RSP and MC that I dont know their skill level as well.

viw are good jsa, dont underestimate them. their best players can most certainly beat you guys. in terms of 1v1s, my clan probably ranks quite high. dont know about team games

Nike, I've played a few of the supposedly top VIW guys but while they are pretty good, I would rate them below [P] as well as CPU...I have played one RSP guy in a 1v1 game, you, and only one of those was a game with good settings and I underestimated you...I can't judge a clan based off of one game where I played poorly...Including the clans listead above by you I will judge it the best I can:
1. apex- apex has to be at the top with the guys they have
2. AHOl-Ace, Sheriff, Boston, and NoobSchool are all very tough opponents in 1v1 and team games in my experience
3. WM- Some of their guys are very good but I dont know if all of them are really good...Some of them havent seemed very good when I've played them.
4. Elite- darkwing is tough on 1v1 and 3v3 and belzebu is a pretty good player as well as others in the clan
5. RP- All but one guy in this clan are above average plaeyers that I have seen.
6. P- All of the guys are at least solid players and some are pretty good and have won some big tournaments together before.
7. CPU- Very close behind P and RP...They are all at least average players and some are pretty good players
8. RSP- I haven't had much experience but they seem fairly good at 1v1
9. WL Chinese Characters- I have seen one exceptional player in this clan but he is inactive now...They have a couple other good players but most I've met werent very good...I had a round robin tournament with all of their members a couple months ago and I lost to 2/12 or so that were in it...I am a pretty good player but I don't think you could consider that above any of these other clans ranked above them
10. VIW- I have played 2 pretty good players in this clan and one average player but some of the otehrs are not very good players due to the low standards of getting into the clan.
11. REGL- Some of these guys are exceptional players while otehrs are very bad players...It just depends on the guy.
12. MC- Their leader is not a bad player but the others I have seen are not very good at all
13. Warlighters- Most players in this clan are absolutely horrendus players but Firestorm and Febo keep them from being the worst clan in terms of skill
14. 101st- I have seen a couple of them in a game and while one seems ok, the other 3 i have seen are not very good at all

This is just my opinion in past experience in skill level of these clans and I think it is very close to accurate. But remember that skill level of players is not everything in a clan...As long as the clanmembers have fun playing together, that is the important thing.

ah well.. we'r all biased towards our own clans,,,
