Since the pandemic has started I've been riding and running more regularly, prior it was commuting and perhaps once or twice a week socially, I have a weekly mileage milestone I try to hit.

I talk to Pardon about riding bikes and am wondering if there is anyone else here who rides with any regularity.

I have a beater commuter, Masix CX, and a road bike, Specialized Roubaix. I'm prepping for a half marathon come September.

I recently got my first road bike - a used Trek 1000 SL. I've been adjusting so far, but had my first ride and averaged 17.03 mph. Pretty happy with that as a start.

I just created a Strava account (https://www.strava.com/athletes/64423049) to record future rides.

If anyone else bikes/runs, maybe we can create a group!

From the other side of the coin, I'm a couch potato and activities just make me tired, so I avoid as much as possible. Sitting is activity of choice.

No, actually when I think about it, the most intense activity I have is jerking off. It burns me more calories than everything else combined.

I used to ride my bike a lot when I was 16-17 because I didn’t have a car to get to work. And I honestly missed it. But I never got myself up to get out there and ride again.

To force myself to ride, I brought the bike to a shop for a tune up and all that. I rode it the next day and man I almost passed out lol. Too many hills in my neighborhood.

However this past week, every other day I went on a short bike ride and have found a route that isint too terrible. I already feel I’m getting some of my strength back.

So yeah I’m falling in love with biking again!

I ride about 9-10 km everyday. Pretty short and boring cause it's me looping a fixed track. But the music makes it a bit more enjoyable. But still it does help me keep in shape

I used to bike to my girlfriend 25 kilometers away and back almost every day a few years ago. Now my last six bikes got stolen and I take the bus. Should've invested in a bike lock

I love cycling. I've always been cycling for commuting and going on trips usually in the summer. So I've cycled now a bit over 40,000 km since 2013.
Whenever my bike has issues and I need to take bus or train I always feel more tired, so I insist on cycling no matter the weather or season. It's nice to experience all the variations throughout the seasons and refreshing.

I don't ride anymore, but in the past I used to be an adventurous person.

How do you like my bike? And it's got a special, modified seat. My friends all say it's pretty good :)
