Hello,

My last community oriented thread has just ended, so I came upo with a new kind of challenge. That may be much harder for some people, since it'll require some real-life effort. Anyway sitting in front of your screen for hours makes you lazy and unhealthy, so for you who play warlight, here is a challenge:

Every time you hear the "bing" that shows a turn has passed, you need to do a specific exercise that you yourself choose depending on your current condition. I personally will exclide real-time ladder games and wargaminglive events from this.

Starting tomorrow for me it'll be 5 pushups. And it must work for all games, rt games, multi-day games etc..

Now, who will join me? (Extra points foreffort if you play warlight at work ;))

Does lifting (and emptying of course) a shot glass count as a valid exercise?

If so - I'm in.

If not - well, no thanks, I'm really looking for an excuse to drink more than an excuse to exercise anyway :P

Typing and clicking are good ways to exercise your wrists and fine motor control. Also, the deep, angry breathing I undertake after every more frustrating turn boosts my respiratory system.

sze - me or you probably can handle that, but there's a lot of people for whom a single game of 20 turns, in other words - 100 pushups would be impossible ;) for the more spherical players i'd suggest let-me-ins or squats..

Aranka - when you play 50 games a day, 30turn each, it gets up to a reasonable workout :)

I will do 1 upside down situp for the avg. of the turns in each of my games and a set for every game!!!!

always remember to do at least 1 if not 2 days break for the body section you were training to recover. The muscles grow when they are recovering, not when they are being used.
