He got booted but had already entered that order. Nowadays, if you've entered at least one order, you are not punished by getting kicked out of the game and losing, but the orders you've entered are executed

the fact that the "play speed" list shows 2 days the turn he deployed 1 seems to confirm this (boot time is 2 days)

Yeah, and if you check the game times, you see it is exactly two days.
