is there a setting or mod where you gain an opponents cards if you eliminate them? i havent seen anything like this when creating a game, but was wondering if im missing something.

Oh hell no thank you.

That was an ugly, mistaken aspect of Risk that made eliminating someone way to OTT powerful. Combined with multiattack, eliminating someone midturn, taking their cards, using their cards, continuing the multiattack onslaught, an otherwise tight game between 4+ people could be finished in 1 turn just b/c one player with lots of unused cards made a mistake.

i see your point. however, i feel that in warzone its difficult to catch up once someone gets clearly ahead. i think it would be a worthwhile mod to increase options. To each their own i guess.

One more question... are there any mods that have leaders or generals that increase attack/defense percentage? not quite commanders, but something in between? My friends and i play risk with a leader house rule wherein you add 1 to the highest die. a comparable setting would be increasing attack defense %'s.
