EagleBlast am I too new? This is my alt but I never use my main. My main accout had been around for 2 3/4 years.

You posted absolutely no requirements prior to me posting that I was interested.

Your opening post still has no standards of any sort listed. If it had I'd never have posted asking to join and you'd have saved yourself a lot of headache.

My opening post does have a link to the rules, however, and asks that everyone read them before posting. If you click that link, you'll see rules about who can join and who can be an Owner on page 3. Those rules have been there since before I started this thread.

For extra clarity, I will copy>paste them into the intro post in this thread.

Look, it's the same as with Good Kid, who also claims to be an ult. It's nothing personal, but I made a decision and I want to stick by it. That decision was to use the applying account's time and boot statistics to make a standard of entry. In future seasons, I could change this if it's a problem, but I try not to flip-flop on decisions.

Again, it's nothing personal, and I'd welcome your other account, but the truth is I have no way to monitor who is an alt and who is not, I can only take your word for it. Alts are also traded around often and have been discovered to actually not be who people thought they were in the past. I'm not saying any of these apply to you, I'm simply saying that's why the rule is the way it is, so that my discretion doesn't interfere with the process. This is the best, most impartial way for me to apply the rule, in my opinion.

I would also like to remind everyone that if your account is too new to join now, it should be old enough by the next season (hopefully there will be one :P), and you would be welcome to join then.

Oh, you needn't worry about next season. I surely will not be applying then. (Yes, I'm Good Kid if that wasn't painfully obvious.)

In fact, it doesn't look like you'll even get 40 players for season 1.

I do still stand by stating that any sort of filtering at all by you though is asinine. It should be chosen purely by the owners, if they don't expect someone to stick around or win games they don't draft them. That would have actually kept everyone except from me from being drafted most likely, whereas I'd have probably been drafted first or second by one of the teams based on whose shown interest thus far (not first or second overall, first or second round).

I'm quite sure I never made any claims of anything of the sort, just empirical statistics. First or second round only implies top 10 in a group.

I'm quite sure I'd be top 10 in that group. In fact, probably top 5. Only MoD and Ineffable are hands down better than me, perhaps 1-2 others that are equivalent, but only those two that are clearly superior.

Acknowledging that is not claiming to be the best thing since sliced bread, it's ust not being humble for the sake of being humble.

Regardless, your entire argument seems moot. You have 14 people after 2+ weeks, I don't foresee you ever getting the 40 people you'd need to do it, let alone enough so that the draft actually leaves people unpicked like a draft should.

Hmm, although I'm not an 'amazing' 1 v 1 player myself, and haven't really played too much 2 v 2 until I finally found an active ladder partner, I am interested in acting as an owner in the League if this plan actually goes forth.

I also would appreciate if Good Kid was allowed to play, as he is not only a brilliant and respectable player, but also generally a nice person. You know that he is at least 3 months old on WarLight, so I believe that he should be allowed in with whichever account he wishes to play with, after all, you do need more players.

Your rules state the following:

All players who wish to put themselves up for draft will be accepted, so long as their boot rate is less than 17% and they have been a player for at least 3 months.

It does not state that the account has to be 3 months old, but rather the player. Good Kid has proved himself to be over 3 months old as a player so he should be eligible by my understanding of your rules.

Lol EagleBlast - first you're complaining, that there is not enough players in your event, and then you're rejecting people, that wants to participate. Maybe that is just coincidence, but from what I observed there is significant drop of interest in this topic ever since you started to reject players like Good kid. You're making yourself a bad advertisement.

Look on it like this: Ash from Pokemon wasn't picky about his Pokemons :P He just made best out of what he had. So why don't you let managers to decide whether they like certain player in their team or not ?
