Cant attack after a few moves.

Hi everyone, I've just started playing, but i noticed something really strange. Once i get through the first ten'ish rounds, i all the sudden lose the ability to move my troops or attack anywhere, Im able to distribute my troops, but after that then i click my country, no arrows show up. What is happening? this has happened maybe 6 times or so?

Guessing someone played a diplomacy card on you. Diplomacy cards prevent two players from attack each other.

It could be that you are still in the deployment fase. If you click the arrow next to the plus, you advance to the order fase, and can make orders.

I have seen one other person report the same thing before. They got stuck in 'inspect' mode.



There are several phases, in the top left, there is this dialog. You can switch between Inspect/deployment/Attack phase here. Just tap/click on them.

yes, I thunk its the last thing that is happening, I seem to be stuck in deployment mode. It happens in every game i play

When I say they got 'stuck' I mean that they didn't know how to switch between the phases. You can just tap/click on them. There are also hotkeys,

A - While building your turn, you can press the A key to advance to the next phase.
Q - While building your turn, you can press the Q key to go back to the previous phase.
Z - When done building your turn, you can press the Z key to commit your orders assuming you've advanced to the confirmation phase.
CTRL - While in the Attack/Transfer phase, you can hold down Control to cause clicks to initiate a deployment (just as would happen in the Deployment phase.) Many players prefer to just skip immediately to the Attack/Transfer phase and then deploy using this shortcut. This allows you to issue a deployment and the corresponding attack order at the same time rather than having to do all of your deployments separately from attacks.
