Today Activision released "Call of Duty: Warzone" and unfortunately no category on twitch exists, so everyone streaming this game on twitch is doing so in the "Warzone" category. This causes their stream to appear on warzone.com, even though they aren't streaming Warzone.

For now I have no choice but to make a list of approved streamers who stream Warzone, and only these streamers will be eligible to appear.

If you'd like to stream Warzone on twitch and you're not in this list, please send me your twitch username in a private mail. Or if you know of someone who should be in this list that isn't.

I'm also working on sorting out the twitch categories, especially since we want the Warzone box art as the icon. They use www.giantbomb.com as their source of data.

Sad it had to come to this, but I guess it happens. Let's hope over time people use the proper category or a new COD: Warzone is made.

I wonder what will be done if a new warzone streamer (for this game) shows up. I guess just gotta hope they see this forum post and PM Fizzer.

I just realized that it's probably a really good time to stream Warzone if you're trying for extra viewers. There's likely a lot more eyes on the Warzone category on twitch.

Well on the flip side, if you're not one of the approved channels, you lose the audience draw of having your stream show up on the Warzone site.

Is there some way to get Twitch to create a CoD:Warzone category?

Maybe this will send Warzone a new surge of activity?

As someone who just started out of isolation biredom streaming and chose to do so with this game. I can say i literally started streaming because of this post.
And what a game to stream. Really fun interactions with people giving their tips on moves etc.
