Balk bonus changes?-
Montenegro- Capital and commercial hub bonus
Bosnia & Herzegovina, Belgrade, Zagreb, and Zadar (Northern Balk Territories)- High population city bonus
Albania, Macedonia, and Niš- mild population slight increase, or stay the same?
Varna- hit with famine and war, but trade hub so more incentive for people to move down and rebuild population, so, stay the same?
Sofia- hit with war and famine, mostly rebuilt, slight decrease?
Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Ízmir, Eskisehir, Denizli, and Ankara (whichever ones stay in Balk)- hit with famine the hardest, population decimated, currently active in war, not much opportunity to rebuild, big decrease. (Greek states not as much of a decrease since people are moving in from Balk to repopulate the area)

Red nodes are "big" stops that people want to get to to sell goods. Blue nodes are just there to connect one common route to another. I don't want to show only a few routes that are being used, but instead to show the possibility and usability of each route. So far, the only real ludicrously advantageous routes are routes to india. Things I haven't shown yet are routes between china/central asia, and the moluccas (which I plan on emulating on real life; up until european exploration, the moluccas were largely unknown but to the people that inhabited the islands. The natives, a sea faring people, would sell their spices to the local state-building people in exchange for civilized luxuries. Not wanting to lose their advantage, the simple exchange continued for millennia. The indonesian/SEA were none the wiser to the true location of the spices, nor did they care so long as it brought trade from india, china, the near east, and eventually europe.)

I do understand how a node with loads of connections will seem extremely useful, but keep in mind that rulers were extremely egotistic and would constantly bring the fruits of trade to a seemingly poor place for a city.

The deadline for bonus changes and map revisions is 2.18.20

Until then, the game settings for the new game are up for discussion.

For the most part just change the bonuses based on the population growing at a normal pace. maybe decrease some of the territories in the mid-west if you need to for balancing reasons. <color=blue><u><link name="b_642">Srinagar</link></u></color> and <color=blue><u><link name="t_756">Kathmandu</link></u></color> both a bonus of 5-6 being the more densely populated and trade-oriented areas in the Mohendrovarsha territory. <color=blue><u><link name="t_604">Shimla</link></u></color> <color=blue><u><link name="t_606">Dehradun</link></u></color> become 2 and stay the same. <color=blue><u><link name="t_755">Dhangadhi</link></u></color> stay the same or decrease by up to 3. <color=blue><u><link name="t_757">Bhutan</link></u></color> and <color=blue><u><link name="t_612">Guwahati</link></u></color> 1 since a small population is there now. (sorry it's not the most specific)

Tiburmo-Trang bonus changes:
Burmese Panhandle - Increase each territory by one, and maybe Naypyitaw by two, as it is the most populated area of Tiburmo-Trang and is where I plan on moving the capital to. The reason for the increase is grneral growth and development plus the Naypyitaw Road which runs down the panhandle. Though it isn't finished, it would be finished right around next game's start.

Tibetan Territories: Decrease the higher areas... they are neglected, poor, and war-torn.

Tirupati, Chennai, Thiruvanathapuram, and Bengalore are given to South India? or if you want some other devision there that's fine too? Kolhapur, Vijaypura, and Mumbai could also be turned into another slot if you wanna split the bonuses further.
