I believe Garret, Lord of VIW (i dont remember how to spell his name), NoobSchool, and Oh Noes are the only 4 in [20B] who were not top 10 in the 1v1 ladder. Garrett will be invited because he has a strong performance on the 1v1 ladder and he is doing very well in the seasonal. Lord had an amazing clan league performance. NoobSchool is just so consistent and has done decently well on the 2v2 ladder and has had many strong tournament performances against good players. Oh Noes has been near top 10 consistently on the 1v1 ladder and has also done well on the 2v2 ladder.
It looks like Proving Ground A and B will be strong (mostly top 50 1v1 ladder players), while C will be decent players (more like top 100 1v1 ladder with exceptions). Learning Ground A will be for others (probably only one division of Learning Ground). If you do well in Learning Ground, chances are you will be in Proving Ground next season. Same with Proving Ground to [20].
Please let me know by May 3 if you are intersted. Thanks!
No Latnox, I will just invite all 25, I assume around 15 will join each. It will be too hard to make sure to get exactly 20 for each league, better to just get around that number.
For #2, I actually don't have the Ursa LUna template yet. I will ask my brother for it and link it asap.
I think I'd be interested in whichever proving ground league you think I'm a good fit for. Even though I'm probably committing myself to, what, 60-80 games? -_-
Max of 34 games for the round robins. More than likely it will be more like 20 games. If you choose to do the other [20/PG] event too, it will be more.
Why ursa luna? Never heard of it. Why not something more well known?
I like the idea of this as a measuring stick, but i have no interest in playing all those games on a template i have never seen. Let me know if the template changes, otherwise i am out i think
I'm actually fond of unusual templates for tournaments, as that way it doesn't benefit people with a savant-like focus for a specific template whereas some people are far, far, better at strat 1v1 than they are at any other 1v1 template due to playing strat 1v1 so much
Other than Europe I don't think there's too many well known 3v3 templates. At least I don't know many. Honest question, what are good 3v3 templates you know Chris?
