That depends upon your definition of The Balkans. Some definitions include Romania, others don't.

That wasn't on the map that I traced and since there's also other lakes with a larger surface area that aren't included, I won't be adding Lake Baikal.

Antarctica should have less bonus - only three points to enter comparing to Europe which has 4 connection points. Also, Australia has the same points as SA, but less connection points.

North America has the same bonus as Africa, but Africa is harder to defend.

Europe has the worst position and is undesirable.

I think that in map with such small number of bonuses, you should take in consideration how much one need to defend/attack from.
