Strange, so did mine. I didn't think they were very bad/offensive, esepcially given some of the anti-religion vitriol and foul language I have seen on the forums....
What are the rules governing the forums? Is everything ok, unless reported as "offensive", or what?

Texas, because of what happened in the forums earlier today, the entire forum was rolled-back to well before what happened.
some innocent messages were deleted in the process.
Ok, good. I'm not particularly worried about my oh-so-funny post being deleted. Much more worrying is the fact that something so innocent might have been construed as hatefullness or offensiveness.

This forum is often embarrassingly bad. For the most part I just read, and rarely post myself. But all I see every day is people posting threads which are perfectly fine, and others posting inane response after inane response. And sadly these are the people who spend half their time calling other people trolls.
Perhaps just avoid the temptation of adding supposedly witty comments and when you have nothing useful to say, be quiet.
Now please, no response to this post. Try responding to the original point, which is about a Los Angeles meet (in the UK here, so I can't I'm afraid).

Ironic that in your post reaming us for our "off topic posts", where we were making fun of that idiot Arun, you make an off topic post. If you aren't in LA, why bother mate? This is an internet forum, please God don't tell me you expect things to be on topic....

It's a good idea Joe, but I would be careful when choosing who to invite - there can be some pretty crazy people on the internet. If it were me, I would meet up with people whom I knew, but maybe you want to make new mates? Your choice, your opinion ;)
Sadly I can't go though, I live in a different continent :P Hope it's a success though!
