hi guys, im away for a few days and don't want my team to be let down in the tourneys by me getting booted. If anyone who I have played a lot of games with would kindly help I would appreciate it.

why not go on vacation you can't just give some stranger over the internet your email and password to take your move and it is best to avoid people you are playing any game against they could use you account in their favour they could even take over your account especially since you have membership.Don't do it ask fizzer for more vacATION IF YOU USED IT ALL AND TELL PEOPLE IN GAMES WITHVACATION NOT ALLOWED NOT TO BOOT YOU.

erm ironheart not all tourneys honour vacations, and im at the latter stages of a few. I have played 100s of games with some players and would be comfortable giving them my login for a few days.

Let Ironheart control it if you are desperate. :D

From a theoretical point of view I have to agree with IronHeart.

Having said that, since it seems unlikely I'll be talking you out of this, some suggestions:

- Change your WL password *before* giving it to that other player (many people have the, bad, habit of using the same password for multiple purposes; changing it allows you to use a password you are sure you've never used before *and* encourages you to change it back afterwards)
- Change it back afterwards (obviously)
- Let Fizzer know what you're doing beforehand (just in case that other player turns out to be less trustworthy than you thought... also, it gives him a fair chance to outright prohibit you from doing it at all, if he feels strongly about it)
- Make sure you don't do this with someone who's currently in any of the same games as you; technically that would count as the other person operating two accounts in a way which gives them an advantage, thus breaking the WL rules

If you decide to do something stupid, then at least don't be any more stupid than you absolutely have to be. ;)

That doesn't work so well with some people (especially in the final stages of a tournament, the temptation might be very strong), not to mention autoboot...

Just give details to a teammate in that game, i'm sure the WL rules can stretch for this situation. After all it isn't a double account technically.

Yeah, if it is only a few days they should understand. I could see a week+ being an issue.

when crafty35a used to play, me and him would on occassion exchange passwords, primarily for when we were in the 2v2 ladder together to prevent booting if one of us got behind cause of RL

I've done this before too. There's no need to bend rules or even contact Fizzer(he's seen it at this stage anyway). This is just another area where there is flexibility. And flexibility is the best thing about WL.

And I'm sure you got a total noob to play for you :P
