Great map!!

I would have removed the mainlandbonus, so the Surveillance Card don`t give the oppertunety to show everythin exept 12 teri;)
And besides if somebody get the mainlandbonus they would win if it was no bonus;)

I`m thinking over the Mainland bonus. Personally I don`t play with other cards than reinforment and spycard often. I`ll see what other say about it. Indeed if you have the mainland you`ll win anyway but that doesn`t matter. This accually make the game finish earlier than normal :). (btw you can`t see 16 territory not 11 but thanks for your opinion)

On topic:
I have the impression many people dislike negative bonuses. That doesn't mean you can't have them, just pointing it out.
Are you going to expand the map further into the ocean? If not, it would be nice if you could trim the edges a bit so people don't have to zoom in all the time.
There's a couple typo's in territory names ("Communitie Island", every occurrence of "Anbandoned", possibly more).

Off topic:
You use backticks "`" (to the left of the "1" key) in your contractions instead of apostrophes "'" (to the left of the "enter" key). On this forum, anything between backticks will be rendered in a "typewriter font", which makes your posts look pretty weird.

@Galaxy, yes it is.

@RWV the map is not going further into the ocean, but I'll have a look at the borders (thanks for the tip why my post were looking weird, I wasn't sure what I did wrong)
First I made a map without the Reefs and tested it with Moros, but then it was to easy to beat your enemy because of the direct connection. So the most attacks will go trough this. With the negative bonusses I try to make the attacks mostly over the Mainland (because in real life attack over sea is also harder).
I don't know what you mean with typo's (I guess mistakes)

Guys, please post some more opinions. I don't know what the most are thinking, so I don't know what the (possible) points are where I can improve the map before putting it on public.

Is there any point in giving the reefs a bonus??? They will give you negative income anyway, even if you get the bonus??

yes there is. The -2 bonus will stop you from taking the reefs, but if you really need to take them it would be "nasty" to give you a -6 bonus. So I reduced it to -3

Another benefit of the (positive) reef bonus is it will work quite nicely when one player already has the reefs and another player is fighting him back. Initially, when Player A has all three reefs, Player A gets a total of -3 and Player B gets 0. After B captures one reef it will be -4 and -2. When B captures another reef it turns into -2 vs -4 and finally into 0 vs -3. In other words, from one turn to the next, the changes won't be very big.
Without the total reef bonus it would initially be -6 vs 0, after one capture -4 vs -2, become -2 vs -4 once Player B captured two reefs and eventually 0 vs -6.

With fighting going on at other places as well, I think this works quite nicely; it's discouraged, but not completely insane. Given the value of opening a second front, it would be a pity if the "price" to be able to do it (not only suffering a reduction of 6 reinforcements, but *also* giving your opponent 6 *extra* reinforcements) would be too high.

I'm just wondering, why did you place the reefs as you did? Wouldn't it be more logical to arrange them vertically? So the Northwestern part of the island connects to Reef 1, which connects to Reef 2, which connects to Reef 3, which finally connects to the Southwestern part of the island. I don't understand the benefit of having a just-barely-shorter connection to the centre of the island.
