Richard, it's a harsh truth...

I barely know coondog's name as racist, and mostly from old movies... I don't understand it as racist, nor do I treat it as such... the n word is highly classified as racist, which I find laughable.. how can a word that can be used in positive and negative connotation, be considered a bad word? the only thing that remains it being a bad word is people insisting it is a bad word...

I head once Honkey is a racist slur for my race.. I have no idea what it means, and have no idea how it is a racial slur for my race, so it does not affect me....


the fact of the matter is, if you are thinking about something in a racially derogatory way.. then you are thinking about it in a racially derogatory way... if you were not a racist, the negative aspect wouldn't even occur to you..
Perhaps the exceptions would be anything people are upbrought as being highly racist, like dog's name to you *since you stated it is highly racist in your country* and the n word to me, but continueing to think of them as racist, and giving them power as racist material, just makes racism more abundant... the only logical reason I don't use the n word Irl is because there are a lot of racists in my community...

point in case.. 4 black people are running around using it on themselves, in a positive connotation.. and ignorant white person *unaware of it's previous racially derogatory meaning* shows up and uses it in the same manner as the black people... the black people jump him for being racist. the black people here are racist, for accepting the word for being such, and are hypocrits, since they invited the word to be used by trying to keep it alive 'and' providing it openly while keeping the age old segregation between the races that has previous been attempted to be abolished..

Racial slurs are like any other form of insult, and really it's the tone and manner that they are used that is negative, rather than the words.. the words are only given power by people accepting them as racially derogative, and people attempting to force them into peoples minds as racially derogative.

I approach everything logical, and taking things racially derogative when they are not intended as such is not.. I would of figured from past conversations you would of already discovered that I take everything logically, and oppose without preferences when people are illogical.
