As mentioned earlier, we will be using the Dowdall system to resolve votes. Anyone who has completed all 20 games in any one of the last three seasonals (Season XXXII onwards) is eligible to vote. Please order all the templates as per your preference (1 is most preferred, 4 is least). If you don't list all of the templates, your vote will be ignored. Also include a valid link to your ladder team's games page. Make sure to link the ladder games page not the team page, as this makes it easier to verify that 20 games were played.

For transparency and to provide feedback and guidance to those who created or submitted templates for this season, we are providing the general reasons why each of the excluded templates was not chosen.

• Black Sea swapped picks/bomb: This map is too big for swapped picks. If one player cluster picks in the far east and the other in the far west (which is a reasonable strategy in swap picks), it will end up being a long game of expansion before even meeting your opponent. In addition, we didn't think the bomb card added much to the game.
• Fast Earth: Similar to swapped picks on Medium Earth which was submitted last season, we loved the concept and think it would be great for a seasonal. However, we felt that the template itself was lacking and we didn't want to waste the concept on a subpar template.
• Hannibal with Diplo Card: The Diplomacy card doesn't really bring much to the table in the gameplay on this template (though you shouldn't rule out that they could potentially work in a strategic template). In addition the overall settings in the standard Hannibal at the Gates are a bit better.
• Imperium Romanum 1v1 Ltd. Distribution: Expansion is far too slow in the beginning of the game leading to long drawn-out games. You can't even take a territory on turn 1 unless you double pick and tap, which is not a good strategy...
• Lucky RoR: An autodistribution FFA on a large map is not well suited for the seasonal. Games are highly luck dependent (your intial starts), and will last a very long time.
• Phobia WR: It is a good template, but settingswise it is similar to British Raj. British Raj is superior in terms of balance and gameplay. Failed 3v2s are also much more likely to be pivotal in Phobia than British Raj.
• Plagues of Egypt: It's a very innovative concept, but there are some balance issues in the template. It will also be a nightmare for people who haven't seen the idea before. Many people will have serious problems keeping their territories, as even experienced players regularly make mistakes and lose their bonuses.
• Randomized Strat ME: This is a good and fun template, but it has featured on the seasonal ladder before.

Since the votes weren't public and I wasn't able to check the votes personally over the weekend, people who submitted votes which were lacking required information (a link to a ladder games page from Seasons XXXII, XXXIII, or XXXIV) were not able to be informed of this while voting was open as they had been in the past. I am giving those people an opportunity to resend their submissions with the correct information.

Hannibal at the Gates made a strong showing, while British Raj and Island of Ruins did not poll incredibly well. Voter turnout was significantly lower this season than last, and more people seemed to have issues voting correctly.

I would also ask for someone who is willing to cross-check the votes that were submitted to ensure I did not make any errors and also note that my vote is the first one in and wasn't edited at all (so I could not have altered my vote after having seen the results).

Ok, what does WZ Wiki say about membership: It doesn't increase your chances at winning a game. Warzone doesn't sell additional armies, cards, or anything that would give paying players an advantage over free players. Players have the same chances to win as members.

I have to conclude that setting Seasonal ladder on Member only template violates the above rule. I am not a member, I can not play QM template with swapped picks (I know its a different map), I can not create game to practice seasonal template.

Without practice I have disadvantage over Members. Possibility to practice swapped picks on QM and selected template greatly increase chances at wining a game for Members. I request to remove members only template from Seasonal ladder.
