Hello, I am new to the game and having some difficulty with AI. It seems to me that the AI knows where I place my armies. Given a choice when I attack of going left middle or right the AI will always choose correctly where to place its armies. My turn and I can place 50 armies and then decide to attack right. Click commit and the AI places a huge army stack right with just enough to protect other two paths.
I have restarted multiple times and chosen different paths and the AI always gets it right. The AI gets the benefit of knowing my moves before it plays?

AIs don’t get told where you are, they might guess where you are, but nothing else.

I wish I had that ability or luck as others may call it. I would be the best 3 card monte player. I finally beat the map, hang back and sneak small army past AI big stack. Keep AI chasing my own so called big stack and clean up AI home base.

I'd encourage you to put this to a scientific test where you flip a coin to determine which territory to attack. You'll find that the AI predicts you 50% of the time exactly.

What's more likely that you're simply noticing every time you guess wrong and not noticing the times you guess right, which leads to confirmation bias.

The AI actually enters all their orders before you do, so from a technical perspective it's impossible. Not only that, but the AI is open source, so you could even read source so you can read it and see how its making its orders.

Yea I had thought this at first as well. But I realized that it was wrong. It takes its turn before yours. And what I've found it goes for the weaker territories. If there is a 2 and a 1 territory next to AI it will attack the 1 army even if you put 30 more troops onto it. Unless its kore than it cam kill originally.
