Do you think gene editing tech and tech in general will continue to advance indefinitely or are we riding a bubble that will burst inevitably? It seems ridiculous that a trend with an exponentially increasing number of failure points could stand against the state of nature without collapsing dramatically back to an equilibrium.

I know nobody could conceive of an iPhone 50 yrs ago etc. etc. but does anyone seriously believe the exponential advancement of tech will continue to the end of history
