I don't think it's insane to pick QB or GiantFrog/myhandisonfire over timinator. I also don't think it's insane to pick timinator over them, either. But I think the title for best German is a lot more closely contested than say - best American.

The stats are pretty insane. Timi has 5 trophies on his main account and 1 on his multi. He's scored top 10 in 11 different seasons, and won 1. He won AWP world tour and is a top contender for it this season. He's won promo-relegation league. He's been a CL MVP, and has participated with the winning clan for 3 different seasons with 2 different clans. He's won 20. He has the most wins on WGL. He won his membership from a tournament.

all 3 players you listed could probably be considered the greatest for other countries, but Timi is a lunatic. Not only has he achieved all these things, but you don't see him burn out and you see him constantly improving. Think about great players like dead piggy who pioneered different strategies and helped us understand the game at a different level. They all fell off as soon as the competition began evolving. Timi is Goku, and Deadman is Vegeta.

He was the best strat ME player, period. He then quickly became one of the best 3v3 Europe players as well in a very short time. He never "fell off", and he was never surpassed by anyone until long after he quit, if ever.

They both have 1v1. Much more convincingly than Timinator does in fact, who stalled for it.

QB has 2v2, Frog/myhand has never played 2v2 ladder, but could definitely get it.

Both could easily get 3v3. Both could easily get RTL. Both could likely easily get MDL, I'd rate both over other people who do have the MDL trophy.

Seasonal is hard-ish, but Timinator cheated in the season he won, the top non-cheater that season was Summer.

Are you like JSA or something? I'm getting that vibe. dead piggy and I knew each other pretty damn well, I still consider him a good friend of mine. He burned out multiple times and had problems adapting to changes of the meta. He failed to complacency. Even in 3v3 EU at the end he was beaten consecutively by deadman before deadman was well known. I pushed dead piggy a lot to try other templates in order to break his complacency but he was a huge proponent of hitting a brick 1000x to master breaking any brick.

As for best strat ME player.. no. He pioneered a lot of tactics, but being a pioneer doesn't make you the best. For example, him at his peak in 2014 would lose to the current top 10. Even at his peak he had negative winrates vs Timi, Szew, Widzisz are the 3 off the top of my head. Also I would say that of those 3, Szew and Timi held peaks for longer periods of time. Then if we wanna go back a bit further, dunga was an earlier pioneer who won multiple seasons of P/R league, some in a row. If we want to be more modern Deadman, Buns, MoD, Pardon all have held rank 1 longer than dead piggy ever did in any of his runs. There's probably more but that's off the top of my head.

Don't let nostalgia blind you from facts. I love dead piggy as a bro, but there's a lot of people who accomplished the same or more achievements on strat ME and 3v3 EU.

Myhand could no longer get 3v3 EU, and GiantFrog definitely couldn't. QB could. All 3 would have trouble getting seasonal. All 3 would have trouble getting MDL as well.

Yeah having 2 accounts in the season when his main account affected 0 of his multi's opponents directly does completely wipe away the achievement. Summer lost the h2h, so his main account being in the season didn't affect the results.

I don't know piggy's overall records vs timi, sze, or widz, but I doubt you do either. piggy was 2-2 vs widzisz on the ladder, 1-2 vs timinator, and 0-0 vs sze, but even if they did all beat him more often than not, that still doesn't remotely suggest that they're better at the template.

I have a winning record vs widzisz. Is this proof that I am better than him? No, of course not. wizdisz's peak rating on strat me was 2038, timinator's was 2205, sze's was 2216. sze only ever hit rank 1 because Bowdown_Z surrendered to him in a game he won.

Piggy on the other hand managed 2422 with 4 unexpired losses, hundreds of rating above anyone else. Less than a handful of people have ever managed 2300 with more than 2 unexpired losses, no one else has ever come close to 2400 with active losses.

No he wouldn't. I was top 10 then. I have been top 10 on the ladder every year since then too. The skill level hasn't really changed that much. I supposed it's hard to realize that though as someone who has never been top 10 on any ladder where they weren't being carried by a teammate.

No clue what "held peaks for longer" means. If you mean held rank 1, no. If you mean, stayed at their peak playing ability, that's completely subjective.

sze played 48 1v1 ladder games ever, he went 36-12, it's not overly impressive.

Timi has been rank 1 on 1v1 twice, not 4 times. Once in 2013, once in 2014. Never since.

Pardon held rank 1 for a long amount of time, yes, but not for all that many games. He has rarely had more than 30 unexpired games. It's basically been one big ladder run - basically inflated throughout the entirety of it. Citing deadman though as an example of people holding rank 1 for long periods of time seems so silly so as to be absurd.

Deadman's played under 100 1v1 ladder games total. 0 were strat ME. The one time he hit rank 1, he held it for THREE DAYS. October 3rd through October 6th. Literally.

LOL. No. 3v3 is the gimme trophy. Half the winners are complete garbage. Rank 1 was under 1750 rating a week ago. You're completely out of touch with the state of the game.
