I really don't know what I could be crying ABOUT anyway. I did not expect to get in (I said as much to my clan mates) with my answers, because I suspected that the people who don't know me (but have votes) would vote against me based on my answers. As I have said many times, I am comfortable with the votes. I don't think one time in here I have complained about WHO people voted for or did not.

Now I understand what Obi-Wan meant when he said "I'm not brave enough for politics"


Anyways, congrats on the selection process. Hopefully the additional openness will solve many of the issues CL has had in the past. From the applications I think we had many good choices so I think this will work out pretty well. Good luck, team :D

I'm very happy to see that psykkoman made it in the committee despite me forgetting to vote. I know him well as he is in the CORP council and in charge of our intern p/r league. He's always staying to the rules and doesn't sway from it. Like one time a player voted after the deadline, and with his vote there would be a templated he and I preferred more, but despite me urging to count the vote, he didn't want to do so. So I'm sure he will do a good job to keep the CL fair without any personal preference.

This is perhaps the dumbest thing I've ever seen transpire for Clan League.

@ethics: hope you all do well and dont get caught up in drama. Thanks for your efforts from Avengers and me already in advance!

@ Kenny, Besides All the 'top clans' admitting they have bent the rules during clan league in the past? Including the people running CL?


Go do something better if you think it can be done. Simply saying something is dumb really doesn't help much.

So glad knyte decided to 'contribute' to this thread. I guess he has nothing better to do than drop insults on people.

@Emu Pub: Okay, I'll repeat myself then. The problem wasn't the leadership or system, but we're acting like it is and changing the leadership or system. The problem was a ruleset that puts people in a tricky position. We can all sit back and be like: Welp, the rules were there and people were breaking them. However, if the rules themselves don't incentivize people to do the right thing then they're not good rules.

What I'm mainly talking about is how vacations/multi-day/player rotations affect the league. The penalty for someone getting booted is so high (a dropped game) that people will avoid it at all costs. There hasn't been one change posted that even addresses this as an issue. The league has changed rulesets every season in order to try to make things better, but no one has really sat down and made the hard choices. IE: Does a multi-day system really benefit everyone? What about having a total game limit and just doing away with RR tournaments for people?

An MD RR tournament requires a lot of focus and is probably the most competitive format, but requires the most time in order to play out. I know this, I competed for 2 3v3s for Apex for 2 seasons in a row, and at least 1 3v3 for 4 seasons total.

So then why does clan league have to play out MD RRs? No one currently on all those panels being created is asking this question. You're all too busy playing the drama game instead of trying to fix the issue. So now we have panels with membership of people who have no interest in bettering the league as a whole, but bettering it for their personal/clan interests. Not only that but everyone has been playing the dramatic game so hard that it's driving away people that actually want to fix things and have worked hard in order to create the evolution of ruleset changes we have now.
