Issues are likely due to small mistakes when porting at least and not likely due to an inability for linode to properly handle the tasks in question. I've had a linode server for close to a decade that I use to host a MUD, and have been incredibly happy with their service in that time.

@CastleBravo Well obviously, loading the client depends on your computer's speed, it has absolutely nothing to do with the server's speed.

Since the changeover, I can't seem to get orders to submit in the one game that I'm playing. It's a very large map, and there are well over 1000 orders in the queue, but before the changeover it worked fine, and now it just seems to be frozen on the screen with the "sending orders..." dialogue playing over the top. This is my third attempt and it's been stuck there for more than 25 minutes this time around.

Are you using a different game mode than before? As in, flash, UJS, Unity, etc.
