tory?

It is a pretty simple question that I THINK I know the answer to, which is no. It's always bugged me that it might be possible I didn't have to move on like a small RISK map or something and I still would have gotten that reinforce card. If you can toggle it how do I check?

Thank you for the quick answer.

This is also interesting:

"When you successfully attack and capture an enemy or neutral territory, at the end of that turn you will receive a piece of a card, regardless of whether you lose the territory later that turn. You can't get more, no matter how many territories you take."

As long as you owned the territory at some point during the turn you still get the card.

It depends on the card settings.
If the minimum card pieces awarded per turn is greater than 0, then you will be awarded a card piece regardless of if you take a territory.

Nope. I dare you to find a game where that happens ;) You always need to capture a territory to gain a card(s).

In theory, that’s how it should work. I’m assuming that the minimum number of cards received per turn is equal to the total card pieces earned each turn. An example game where this is true is https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=16004061.

Just FYI, one trick that may be helpful depending on the card settings is to play an abandon (emergency blockade) card or a gift card (to an opponent) on one of your territories, and recapture it on the same turn.

This is helpful when the abandon isn't too steep (maybe a 2x abandon on a 1, or anything with a 0 with one army must stand guard off) and the benefits of getting a card, where you are otherwise not guaranteed to get one on that turn, are high.

You can do this with a blockade, but it spans two turns, and you may not retain a bonus that you would otherwise have.
