Race to the Middle - detailed strategy for 6 turns: 7/7/2018 15:20:20

This is for all those who “get tired of beating your head against the rocks” trying to win this scenario.
Take all the bonuses you can for the first 6 turns while racing to the middle of the board with your commander:
Bonus of 5 armies at the start
Turn 1: Commander goes from Throne Room 03 to Throne Room 01
4 armies goes from Throne Room 03 to Throne Room 02
3 armies goes from Throne Room 03 to Throne Room 05

Bonus of 5 armies
Turn 2: Commander goes from Throne Room 01 to Gates 03
4 armies goes from Throne Room 02 to Throne Room 06
3 armies goes from Throne Room 05 to Throne Room 04
3 armies goes from Throne Room 05 to Throne Room 07

Initially, I went to left side of the fork with my leader and usually got beat by running into teeth of the enemy
Conclusion: Go to the right of the fork with your leader!
Bonus of 9 armies
Turn 3: Commander goes from Gates 03 to Gates 02
4 armies goes from Gates 03 to Gates 01
5 armies goes from Throne Room 06 to WWing 03
5 armies goes from Throne Room 07 to EWing 03
2 armies goes from Throne Room 04 to Throne Room 06

Bonus of 11 armies
Turn 4: Commander goes from Gates 02 to South Road 02
6 armies goes from Gates 01 to South Road 01
4 armies goes from WWing 03 to WWing 02
4 armies goes from EWing 03 to EWing 02
4 armies goes from EWing 03 to EWing 04
2 armies goes from Throne Room 06 to WWing 03
Last step to minimize losses since the enemy will attack neutral armies at WWing 04 first
4 armies goes from WWing 03 to WWing 04

Turn 5: Commander goes from South Road 02 to South Road 04
2 armies goes from WWing 03 to WWing 04
3 armies goes from WWing 02 to WWing 01

3 armies goes from WWing 04 to WWing 05
3 armies goes from WWing 04 to Side Entrance
Delay last step as long as possible for the enemy to attack neutral armies at South Road 03 first
Minimize losses!
13 armies goes from South Road 01 to South Road 03

Bonus of 17 armies
Turn 6: Deploy 1 army at EWing 05
Deploy 21 armies with your commander at South Road 04
Transfer armies from South Road 03 to South Road 04
2 armies goes from WWing 04 to Side Entrance
2 armies goes from WWing 01 to Gates 01
2 armies goes from EWing 01 to Gates 02
2 armies goes from WWing 05 to WWing 04
Obtain an extra army each turn with the following:
3 armies goes from EWing 05 to Resource Silo
Now obtain a foothold in the center with your next move
Attack with your commander and armies to Center SE
Once you have acquired all of the center you will have 35 armies plus an additional 18 armies
Total of income of 53 armies and you should win easily…
Several times I won in 15 turns and twice in 14 turns; however the record holder of 12 turns (WOW!) by Rukys looks unbeatable.

Thats my own opinion tho i think its "dumb" to give these tips and tricks for each individiual level and especially how you did it for each turn.
Making a guide on how the AI works how it makes moves and learn how it plays is way better as you can use that information for each level.

Its like giving someone a fish and you feed him for 1 day.
Teach someone how to catch a fish and you feed him a life time.

or saying it for wz

Tell him how to beat a level and you helped him beat that 1 level.
Tell him how the AI works and you helped him beat all levels.

Agree 10,000% Joi. Single player is all about learning and manipulating the AI.

My mistake as at the fork on turn 3 you can switch and have your commander go left while the rest of your armies goes to the right and win Center SW on turn 6. The West AI underestimates your leader's attacking resources and should defend Center SW and Center SE equally.

In fairness, it is correct to say that "it is impossible unless the AI makes a really stupid mistake". The initial position is completely won for the AI. The thing is, the AI is guaranteed to make such a mistake, because it prioritizes expanding over attacking/defending and it doesn't understand delays. You just need to exploit that.

My audience was for those who were trying to win this scenario and needed help. I was looking for suggestions on how to attack Center SE or Center SW and win on turn 6. Split your forces one stack(1) with the commander and the other stack(2) with armies and march forward to the center. Deploy 21 armies on turn 6 with your leader and delay. Transfer your army stack(2) to your commander stack(1) should be one's first move on turn 6. West AI does not defend properly and one should be able to crack West AI's center.

"Requesting assistance in beating map, as I am losing my mind..." from one person and similar comments from others hence I decided to give a detailed plan to help out.

and you helped him.... for that 1 level.. instead of saying how the AI works and how to manipulate it in such a way that you can beat all levels. Why not just say that. you gonna doe a guide now for each individual level? and then continiu with the community levels? No... you cant as the base AI is random. it will never play the same 2 times in a row except in specific designed levels where you need to manipulate the AI. It will maybe do the first turn the same multiple times in a row but never a whole game.
