For flash. It looks good but I don't think you should change it.

It is slow with the pop up and arrows, I don't think this is really needed at all. I don't think people would want to look at bonus/territory layout. The blue/yellow highlighted territories was simple but very easy to use, and its all that's needed really. I prefer the background colour for the names on the old version to the highlighted yellow also.

For us mapmakers:
- I think you should make a review/rate option more obvious + put the mapmakers name perhaps on the side.

^I find the popups and arrows really useful. Makes it clear exactly what's connected to where.

The text zoom in and out buttons aren't vertically centered.

Unwieldy to the point of uselessness for this map (had to just open on Flash mode): https://www.warzone.com/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=59538

Issues I'm having:

1. To an untrained user, it's unclear where you'd even go about finding the distribution modes. There's so many bonuses on this map (listed by name, which I don't think means much to most players) that are listed above the distribution mode. It'd be nicer if the distribution modes were on top, at least for this map. Most people probably identify the bonuses visually anyway, by clicking on their links on the map.

2. Clicking "Major Cities" (distribution mode) triggers an animation that looks like some sort of weird glitch at first (my first thought was "what's wrong with my screen? why are there these random yellow and blue blobs on it?") and the persistent highlighting isn't obvious (I only noticed it when I went to record). For a map like this, I'm having a hard time deciphering the distribution mode territories in UJS when it's a relatively easy (and instant- no animations, thank god) task in Flash.

3. Clicking on the bonus link for a large bonus takes forever on my machine in UJS when it's instant in Flash. The light yellow highlighting also isn't very helpful for me to figure out exactly what's in the bonus, since it makes it easy to miss exclaves. It'd be nice if we had something closer to the bold blue infill from the Flash map previewer- it scales better for large maps.

Here's a 30-sec clip of what I saw on my machine previewing this map in UJS (the 30-second timer ran out before the big bonus link worked): https://youtu.be/befLeV-1CcQ

Doing the same thing in Flash: https://youtu.be/JdPVlZz3E4s

Took way less than 30 seconds to do in Flash what I'd wanted to do in the UJS version; had time to check out a good number of big bonuses and still stay well below the 30s cutoff. The only issue with the blue infill vs. the yellow highlighting seems to be that it makes it easy to get confused with the ocean + inland sea/lakes in the middle of territories.

for me ujs is super laggy (gotta wait like 3-5 sec until the pop-up opens), zooming with the mouse wheel doesn't work and the big fat bonusbuttons look way to massive

I checked knytes example and from that time all maps open in UJS and I have no way to revert it (I use Flash normally).
It is very laggy for me, too. When opening the map, and when closing even more. It looks there is no consideration what this thing will do on older and slower computers. And while checking distribution modes on bigger maps, lag is really huge and screen just go crazy.
That yellow bonus hightight glow looks weird and offer absolutely no help when viewing big maps. You need to scroll very close and even afterwards, you often have no idea how the bonus looks. Old way of showing them was way better and understandable.
List of territories offers zero help on bigger maps, as if you have superbonus with say 80 territories, some of them will have similar shape inevitably. And on this map (and I assume on almost all space themed maps) https://www.warzone.com/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=72850# all you get is complete chaos ...
Also, I am all for distribute modes placed on top of list.

.^to revert it, add &Mode=Flash at the end of the map preview link.

But unfortunately, UJS became my default viewing option, which was not my aim at all. Looks like bug.
At least it looks better now, without animations. But for big maps, the lag is horrific.

UJS being the default viewing opinion is a feature, not a bug. Does adding &mode= still do a difference?
