Last 3 days i've been working on a HUGE map.
I've worked a total of 16 hours on my map so far, And it's ~20-30% finished.

A lot of work is still to be done.
But it will be the biggest map in the entire game.

After that, I'll make smaller and quicker maps, Since a single game in this map might take 4-7 hours(not tested yet) in Real-Time.

I'll be looking for people to play the first game with.

May I recommend that you share a link to your map at this early stage in its development. Will allow for more experienced map-makers to give you some pointers and obviously its better to get such suggestions as early in the process as possible.

Wow, if it's all true you are such a fast drawer! I consider myself fast, but if you've really done 20% of the biggest map, which would be bigger than big USA, and then it's going to have at least 3500 territories, then you should have about 700 right now :) 3 days you say... I'm working for over a week on my big map and I've got about 800.

A friendly message that the territory limit is currently 3200 territories per map, and you won't be able to create a map with more.

This limit was put in place after Big USA was created (which has a tad over 3100 territories), as far as I know especially to prevent creation of such large maps - they are difficult to handle for players, for the Flash app on slower computers, and for the server (there were cases where it was impossible for a game to proceed, because AIs were unable to figure out their orders in reasonable time).

Well i'm making a basic symmetric design.. It's just a big map, Not really very nice yet, Layer 1 is easy. Layer 2 is hard. Layer 3 even harder and possibly layer 4 if i got enough terrotories left, Layer 1 is now 92% done. Then i'll do layer 2 and 3, And depending on the terrotories i might do 4.

And i just want to make the biggest map. So i'll make it about 3140, Under 3200 but above USA map, So people will remember me for having the biggest map :D

To "paraphrase" Gui:
If you have a nice idea for a map and it just so happens to be a 3000+ territory idea, sure, go ahead and make it. Put please, don't put 3000+ territories in a map just because you want the "honour" of having made the biggest map.

Please keep in mind that Fizzer has to manually approve all maps before they become visible to other people. There are some [published requirements](http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Map_requirements), which your map will definitely be checked against. I wouldn't be surprised if there's also some "unspoken rules" which will be taken into account though; if you make a 50*60 checkerboard map, it just might be rejected (and your effort wasted) simply because it's incredibly lame. (Contact Fizzer if you need to know how it actually works in detail; I'm just guestimating here.)

@RvW, I've readed it, And so far i've kept myself to the requirements(which is a very good thing =]) I'm now in layer 2, and i'll msg people when i'm done

I don't think that is the case.

If it were, why would all of the New Jersey counties be up there on their own? Or why would there be multiple maps of the same thing (Periodic table, dartboard)? I don't think Fizzer plays editor at all

JKiller... what are you using to make the map? Inkscape? I hope you don't mean layer as in layering the images atop one another...

I was literally excited to see a 3140+ territory map out of you. That is until I added you on skype, saw your map was nothing but a checkerboard, saw your idiotic comments towards gui, and realized you aren't actually putting effort towards the map, and that your only goal is to have the most territories.

Dropping any support I might have had for this project.
