Change is never nice in the beginning because that's what we are used to. I can tell the visual improvements and the more smooth feel to it all. I will miss the old likes most but the new times will be better and I suppose as a community it's important to embrace the changes especially when they aren't going to be reversed. :P
A lot of the pages are either ugly or broken. Sometimes change takes a while to get used to, but when the change is ugly the change is ugly.
Bring auto-games back (or put the real-time ladder in a more prominent position) or we riot!
If someone has the old Warlight stylesheets by any chance, we could use them to create a user style. Some changes are nice (top navbar, although it should be tweaked too- not everything should go under "Community") but a lot of things I would easily take the old version over.
'cause Flash is basically about to die. Fizzer did a large overhaul of the site while switching from Flash to Unity. The Flash->(something other than Flash) change was necessary, and I'm sure there were good reasons to pick Unity over a pure HTML+JS solution. This has also been a long time coming, probably.
Change was bound to happen. And after this shock, since it seems like a lot of people don't enjoy the changes, I'm pretty sure there will be other small changes that result in something more people enjoy.
Hello. I have some problems with Unity. I cannot enter the chat without the site hanging up. Also when opening a game another tap opens and my laptop goes basically amok. i have a mcbook air.
I am REALLY disappointed that mods are a member-only feature. This means mods are, basically, dead. All the work that dabo1 and other mod creators did is wasted until more people can play with mods. I guess I have to keep maintaining the list of all members who are willing to play diplomacy games with the Advanced Diplo mod, and any Real Time diplo games with with the diplo mod are out the window
@Jason Barritt , hmm Since SP games where saved locally presumably they are still saved by your browser. So they are not deleted, I think. Not sure how you would go about getting that back into warzone from warlight.
As good as Flash was, it was dying and we needed a switch. But (and I assume it's because it just launched and Fizzer is still working out the bugs), it's very laggy right now, and I don't understand why they changed the website look from the Red and Black Defcon type look to this green camo font.
