Rules for "Old Town Politics" template. Even thought it looks complex, every player just has to read few lines of his own slot (unless they choose Politicians)

Everyone has primary objecite: survive.
Secondary objectives are not necessary to win, they are like winning the game with gold star. Secondaries are difficult.

1) POLITICIANS AND SECURITY:

Police and Soldiers (P and S)
Special: The one with "treasury" bonus is the leading law-enforcement and has a big income
boost. Every turn can politicians vote, if they wish to keep you in the leading position,
or make the leading law-enforcment your counterpart. If they wishes to throw you down,
you must give tresury bonus to your counterpart. If you refuse, [SEE ABSOLUTISM]
Goal: At the end of game, have at least 2 political sides marked you as "helpful", became absolutist ruler, or have the absolutist ruler marked you as "helpful". Dont be a vassal of another town (AX)
Secondary: Have more income than your counterpart
Politicians:
Special: Rules over Police and Soldiers. Cant fight each other in the Breakwater Citadel
(but outside of it its OK). Can make rules.
a)
Left wing (L)
Goal: Became absolutistical ruler or complete at least 4 of this tasks:
-make Farmers win
-make Citizens (AC) win
-make Citizens (AD) win
-make Citizens (AE) win
-make Slaves win
Secondary: Complete at least 4 of this tasks
-complete all 5 tasks above
-became absolutistical ruler
-perfect win for Farmers
-perfect win for Citizens (AC)
-perfect win for Citizens (AD)
-perfect win for Citizens (AE)
-perfect win for Slaves
-be the most powerful (income) political side
b)
Right wing (E)
Goal: became absolutistical ruler or complete at least 4 of this tasks
-make Busnisman (B) win
-make Busnisman (AB) win
-make Fishers win
-make Nobility win
-put law-enforcment in at least 33% of slums (south-center, below the city walls)
Secondary: complete at least 3 of this tasks:
-complete all 5 tasks above
-perfect win for Nobility
-dont let either Busnismen have secondary objective completed
-became the strongest (income) political side
c)
Militarists (M)
Goal: became absolutistical ruler or complete at least 3 of this tasks:
-make Hero win
-eliminate spies of another town (AX) in your town
-declare and win a war against another town (AX)
-eliminate either Soldiers or Police
-make Citizens+Nobility+Slaves+Farmers+Robbers+Theaves+Arsonist+FIRE! weaker than Police+Soldiers
-Get both, Robbers and Theaves under 100 income each
secondary: complete all 6 tasks above

2) ABSOLUTISM

Anyone can declare absolutism. Absolutism automatically vassals everyone but another town
(AX) to you. When Police or Soldiers refuses to give away "treasury" bonus, they automatically declare themselves as an absolutistical ruler. In absolutism, politicians can fight each other in the Breakwater Citadel.



3) OTHER SLOTS:

Dragon (D)
Special: Must move like in no-split mode. Cant use cards.
Goal: Conquere or vassal Barnsdale
Secondary: Eliminate the hero
Farmers (F)
Goal: Dont be a vassal and have control over Barnsdale at the end of game
Secondary: Eliminate the threat of Robbers and Thieves (elimination, vassaliation of them, NAP, alliance...)
Pests (AP)
Special: AI
Robbers (R, AR)
Goal: Keep your income (both slots together), dont be a vassal
Secondary: Have at least 2x more income than Thieves
Thieves (T)
Goal: Keep your income (both slots together), dont be a vassal
Secondary: Have at least 2x more income than Robbers
Citizens (AC, AD, AE)
Goal: Dont lose more than 4 houses/areas. Losing = being eliminated from the area. If you reconquere the area back, it will be still counted as "lost".
Secondary: Dont lose a single house.
Bussnismen (B, AB)
Goal: Double your income
Secondary: Have at least 2x more income than the other bussnisman.
Nobility (N)
Goal: Keep your income. Income of your vassal(s) also counts. Dont be a vassal.
Secondary: Eliminate arsonist and FIRE! and keep slaves as your vassal
Slaves (H)
Special: Is a vassal of nobility
Goal: Dont be a vassal
Secondary: Make nobility your vassal
Arsonist (I) [HARD]
Special: Doesnt need to survive to win
Goal: Eliminate nobility AND slaves
Secondary: Eliminate bussnismen
FIRE! (AF)
Special: AI
Fishers (A)
Goal: Own whole "Fisher Guild" bonus
Secondary: Vassal at least one bussnisman
Hero (AH)
Goal: Dont be a vassal and complete at least 2 tasks of this
-Eliminate Robbers
-Eliminate Thieves
-Eliminate the Dragon
-Eliminate Pests, Arsonist and FIRE!
Secondary: Complete all 4 tasks
Another town and spies (AX) [Hard]
Special: by attacking Cozy Cottage, Reddish Woodpecker Alley or Estwick Line
(all in NE corner) declares war on the old town. If wins, became absolutistic ruler of the old town.
Cant delcalare before turn 6
Goal: Make at least 2 political sides lose
Secondary: Make all 3 political sides lose

interesting template. probably a little too complicated. but what is this thread about? do you need players who like to join your game? or do you want to discuss and adjust the template?

OP's post is too long to fit in the msg from host. So they make a forum post and link it.

It is just a placeholder for the rules really. Seen it done by quite a few rp/diplo players.
