I was in a game, and there were two players with the most income, dark green and light blue.

Dark green is winning, light blue wishes to stall the game.

Then light blue says "I'm going to keep playing until the end. I'm in no hurry."

3 turns later Light Blue gets angry that he's clearly not winning the game. He shows his great hypocrisy and says: "wow how pathetic that you played this all night. don't you have a job?"

Dark green remains polite and continues to win the game.

Light blue says "you had lucky picks" (This isn't autopicks btw) and proceeds with "that and no life is what won you the game" and finally surrenders on turn 25.

So basically this self-centered child tells another person that he has no life for doing the same exact thing he did, which gave me the idea to write this thread. What do you think of people like this? Have you ever encountered them? What do you think of people who disrespect you for doing something they themselves have done?

Sore losers is usually the first thing you encounter when playing auto-games. I am surprised you are surprised.
I don't mind those people since the game is about fun and not winning. If you get salty because you are losing you have less life than someone who plays this game for the fun.

I agree with that, although this was a game I made manually and not an auto-game. I just find it awful how people can't realize their own hypocrisy when they rail on people for doing the exact same thing they themselves have done.

I think he is just a bad loser who whines when he loses.

Calling that another person doesn't have life is just how bad he is and shows that he can't win unless stalling a sleepy player and make him get booted.

Dark blue said Italy mace and i asked him to take partha or spain with that-which he didn't take when he committed like 30s before boot time. So at 11th hour I picked and I had to take +1 cities in africa.

This guy kept on calling me non-communicative, when I had no time to communicate(i committed with 2-3 s to spare). I saw the picks only after dark blue committed and i can't risk a boot and picked what is best for team.( I could have said wait for few mins in Public chat and could have communicated, but wanted to play-as it was night time for me).

I find funny seeing such players who blames others or disrespects others to cover for their bad play or loss. Sometimes, "you had lucky picks" is just cover of "i am dumb and don't pick good".

At least he didn't surrender without giving a fight. I often see players surrender while they are winning. Sometimes after surrendering, they take back control of AI and attack their teammate to make sure he can't proof that his surrender was wrong judgement.

Here's a quick lesson in FFA game dynamics, for all of you. Yes, FFA games are ALWAYS highly dependent on getting picks that are free of early conflict, if you are to win. It doesn't matter that it was manual picks. You have NO IDEA that your picks will be conflict free, and it is ALWAYS down to luck that no players picked nearby to you. This is a cold, logical FACT of the gameplay. It's still fun to play. But let's not be dumb and pretend that LUCK isn't a huge factor.

The idiots out there will respond as they will. I'm not going to bother keeping up with this thread. You can AGAIN stay up all night complaining about how you think some random dude online is mean, bitter, unfair, whatever. Have fun with your circle-jerk sulking. No skin off my back.

I wanted you to know that your behavior was reprehensible and hypocritical, and I was wondering if other people have similar experiences but it seems you are unable to realize it still.

How are they idiots? Again you could just own up to your behavior and admit you were wrong for treating that player how you did, but it doesn't matter anymore and I have no more to say about it either. I will just let this go.

He correctly analyze that Dzyniu23 was lucky that no one picks close to him.

Imo, andresmdn just made a sharp judgment and didn't say anything outrageous in the game or in this thread. Seeing how Venus Angelic calls him a self-centered child for this, makes me think that Venus Angelic is the hypocrite here.

Do you think I was being a hypocrite for making this thread but he wasn't being a hypocrite for his behavior towards the other player? I am not sure why you would think one, but not the other and that is why I ask you this question.

The question I have for you would be this. If the player he criticized has "no life" for playing a game he was winning, while the accuser himself was stalling a game he was losing. How is he not a hypocrite?

No, thats the point: Venus Angelic did not play till 6 a clock in the morning. It was 23:25 for you = 22:25 for andresmdn and 05:25 for Dzyniu23.

But let's not be dumb and pretend that LUCK isn't a huge factor.

If the picks were automatic then it was. If they were manual luck really isnt that big of a factor. Many players like to blame luck in picking stages or in WR for example, but it rarely actually comes down to luck.
