Lol, you guys really get pissed off when you're told your country isn't what you think it is. It's true that the only obligatory course you have in school is AmericaGreatestCountryInTheWorld, but guess what you can tell yourselves that everyday, it won't make it any more true.

Let me ask you so proud american patriots: when was America great? Was it when you wrecked up the middle east under Bush I and II? When you put in place dictatorships all over the world to assert your dominance? Was it when you trowed napalm at kids in Hanoi 1972? When you burned black students in the sixties because of unfounded hatred of the other? When you throwed away two nuclear bombs in a country that had already lost the war by every single indicator? When you created concentration camps for japanese descendents in WW2? When you turned away boats full of jews coming from nazi germany? When you killed yourselves in a bloody civil war because of a terrible institution such as slavery? Was it when your already big country invaded Mexico in order to get even bigger? Maybe it was when you were killing indians so you could civilize the land?

Seriously, answer to me, when was your country ever great? I'm not gonna say the US is the worst country that ever existed and that americans are evil, that's stupid. But you're nothing other than an average superpower like the world has seen a lot in it's time, with golden years, attrocities commited, and utterly getting substituted by another one. It's not like any of this make you any spectacular or greater than Britain, France, Spain, Persia or Rome were at some point.

No, there was always moral high ground propaganda. In the Napoleonic wars, it was to defeat "mankind's foe" (yes, Napoléon was really called that), in the Russian Civil War, it was to promote each own's ideology and what was "best" for the country, and in the Second World War, it was to slay the most evil man in the world, totally ignoring (and often keeping secret) colossal Russian, British, American democides; combined Allies likely bigger democide than Axis.

Make America Great Again seems to be the premise of too many recent elections. It's simply the new electoral strategy game people come up with. 'We have lost what is ours, vote for me I'll get it back'. Honestly, it's usually used as an overarching theme when you don't actually have any specifics in policy people like. Obama used a similar theme in 2008 and Romney in 2016.

America, without a doubt, is probably the ultimate success story for any young nation wanting to get in the big leagues. But all empires fall and all nations eventually fall from greatness. If they survive the plunge, usually in a couple hundred years they will find their way to relevance again. It's the course history takes.

America will be the rationalist Jew empire that destroys Europe and then itself and the West will fade into history. Inhabitants of America in 500 years might call themselves "American" like the Arab people who inhabit Egypt today call themselves "Egyptian" but there is no continuity between the different cultures that ruled over those lands.
