I will open a separated topic for the 2018 Tour Finals so now I am writing only about the new 2019 Tour Race.

A sronk start by a newcomer, Turkish, he won both finished events!
Ok, not really newcomer, because he played on the Tour earlier (9 events, 14-9 record but no any QF or better results on them). so rather a great comeback. Whether will he compete with the Tour elite in a longer term?
Because a few of the Tour elite are already in the top too, malakkan, kicorse and Buns follow Turkish with 100+ points.

Ok, this is only the very beginning of the Race, but it started in 2019 too!

Hi Lew,

you are already in my invitation list, so you have been invited to the Tour events on every Wednesdays so far.
Maybe you wasn't able to see this, because the smaller events fill up and start very quickly (in a few hours, until about 11 am CET on Wednesday) - but if you have e-mail notifications about tourney invitations you can see those invitations.

Tell me if this time interval (on Wednesdays between about 05:00 am CET and about 11 am CET) is not ok for you (you missed to join) and if you need a Wild Card (= Monday invitations)

Remark: from 2020 British Raj will be Masters event and Cat Fight will be 500 Series event. And won't be time segregated but distributed seasons.

I will update the remained 2019 SR season soon.
And after that I will construct and update the new distributed 2020 season with the new elected templates.

We already got used to that if a Tour birthday (on May 30, the Tour was three years old :) ) then a Tour Race final result is coming.
So here is the final result of the 2018 Tour Race with some statistics and records.

• The TOP25 player from the finished 2018 Tour Race
  (counted only the 2018 events):
  
  
  
  In 2017, Timinator replaced Rak on the throne of the Tour, but in 2018 a new king, Kicorse arrived!
  2018 was clearly Kicorse's year.
  In the beginning, Quicksilver was riding with him in the Race, but then he retired, and the old king, Timinator booted from lot of his games after his autumn vacation. Without these Kicorse still would win the Race imo, but with these he won the Race with a very big point advantage. He holds all the 2018 Tour records except the Most Played Tournaments (see below). And he broke lot of overall Tour records too!
  Long live the new Tour king! :)

This new Tour event is based on the yearly AWP World Tour Races, where the TOP16 players will be invited from.
And it is a fight for the AWP World Champion title.

So based on AWP World Tour Race 2018 above, here is the first Tour Finals Bracket (Quicksilver was retired so replaced by Milly (17th))
