I woulden't see why he would not persue such a path if there was popular interest in it. Its more money for him, and also advertising for his game. Even if he does not want to put the explicit effort into it and someone else worked on it independently of him with his approval, its still free advertising for WarLight. (Something the community would benefit from I think).

Businesses (especially new business ventures outside your existing value network) are expensive and challenging to maintain, so I'm not getting my hopes up about Warlight merchandise. Also I doubt even 2 people from this thread would actually go and buy that merchandise.

If there are people willing to pay $99 for smokey black, I think there would be some who would pay $15-20 for a t-shirt.
