Hello,

I'm going to start working on a template for a Holy Roman Empire diplomacy with special stuff, and I was looking for a very detailed map of the HRE, full of provinces and preferably with one bonus for each territory. I really don't know how Warlight's search system works, then I've had no success in finding a map like this.

As I'm very interested in this project, I'm demanding for it here before thinking of making a map by myself. If you know a map like this please let me know!

There are no maps in which the focus is the HRE, so an ideal map is going to be impossible unless you make one from a scratch.

Ollie's 30 Years War map has a decently-detailed map of it; subpar for your goal, but better than sticking to nothing; you'll struggle from having 2 to 5 territory nations often, though.: https://www.warlight.net/Map/17567-Thirty-Years-War-16181648

I'm still amazed by how WL doesn't have a map of this fascinating political entity that spanned centuries lol That's why I needed to ask it here, I couldn't believe.

It seems I'll have to either make the map or abandon the idea. And thank you for your reponse, Zephyrum!

Make the map. Even if you abandon the template idea, we could use the map--we don't have it yet.
Though I will say, take some tutorials first, and ask for advice when needed; that way you don't have to redo it in the future.

Someone (General Amoora I think?) started an HRE map and it was looking REALLY GOOD and well made, but the guy just went randomly inactive, sadly.

Do you have any link for it, Zephyrum? EDIT - For the unfinished map, I mean.

Doesn't change much seeing as you can't use an unfinished map in game save from when you're the creator.

I'm thinking of placing the hipothetical map in 1500-1550, though. And the ideas given are pretty much the ones I already have, specially this "Voltaire's Nightmare" that Zephyrum didn't seem to like lol I've found a very concise map of the HRE to base the one of mine on, the only problem is that it is in German, but I can surmount that... I think

Territory names are not hard to come by, given how many people around here like history. Just focus on map shape and fun factor :D

Names come second. If you worry about where you're going to get enough names, or even try to name it as you go along, you'll never finish it. Make the map, then find names for every territory. Not only is it possible, but it's easier.

Well, as per usual, the "if you really want the map, then make it yourself" adage applies here. However, you are definitely in the right clan for that undertaking, Empire of Brazil. sfg, gk, and I are all willing to help you in the process of making a map.
