My two bags of cat food: 1.Birth Control. This should be allowed. Actually this must be mandatory. 2.Abortion. Should be banned in most cases. When the fetus has extremely severe hereditary illness so that life is worse than death for him/her and when the life of the pregnant woman is threatened unless abortion is done I agree that it should be allowed. This should be an issue of individual rights in a secular sense. 3.Gay marriage. Allowed while not everyone should be forced to perform or recognize it. However the government which is secular should allow it. 4.Guns. Allowed. Outlawing guns leads to guns being monopolized by the government and criminals alone.
the point is that holding all of those positions is not logically consistent. if you don't hold all of those positions, then you don't need to get all defensive because it's not directed at you. there are many people who are against gay marriage, abortion and birth control -- and who argue banning guns wouldn't work.
One does not simply get rid of Wally Balls, it's like trying to get rid of Karl. It'll never happen, however the difference is Karl is amusing, Wally Balls is more often than not annoying, however he does prevent OT from become a Pro Trump Ecochamber, which is nice. But that's about it.
Birth Control should be legal. Abortion should be legal. If you're going to illegalise it, then let the mother drink, smoke and eat soft cheese as much as she wants. Gay marriage should be legal. Homosexuals and Heterosexuals should have the same rights. Guns should be legal for those who have no criminal record, have passed mental checks and have learnt how to use them.
