Hi everyone!

TVtropes is an awesome site and I've been lurking there for quite a long time. Then I tried to see if Warlight had a page and was quite appalled at its state....

I've been editing it a bit to give it a better look and add links but it needs quite a lot more of them to make it out of the "Starvation" category and into the "Healthy" one.

I imagine that there are more experienced tropers than me around this forum, since the troper demographics and Warlight's own are quite coinciding.

Fair warning though, to those who don't know the site, be prepared for opening a senseless number of tabs on your browser and spending a lot more time than you planned there upon first visiting...

umm but i'm not too sure what we should even put on that page.

I know the link works but some people can just make their word blue or something and that still makes a link...

I'm not sure what more I can add either, but the more people go there, the more different imputs on the game we'll get, with different experiences from different habits, likes and tiers of play so the page will eventually build itself up...

(I'm a multi-day diplo-roleplayer of average skill on a small map and a semi-dangerous foe on a big one, I also play some real time but can't encompass the whole Warlight experience by myself: ladders, for example, are out of my league and my preferences)

So basically, the more the merrier !

ehm, the first sentence has two/three factual errors...

WarLight is a mostly-free online indie Risk variant, first published by Fizzer in 2008, and since then continuously updated by him and a team of moderators.

edit: Never heard on TVtropes, from the looks of it their market is...well

The wiki is called "TV Tropes" because TV is where we started. Over the course of a few years, our scope has crept out to include other media. Tropes transcend television. They reflect life. Since a lot of art, especially the popular arts, does its best to reflect life, tropes are likely to show up everywhere.

Not sure I will put any time into it. Better to spend your time fixing up the wiki page. That needs some work too.
