Interesting stuff.
Does this mean we could finally implement some much-needed additions to Warlight?
For instance, the highest-voted Uservoice suggestion not to receive a "not on the immediate roadmap" comment:
A. Deployment Limits
https://www.warlight.net/Forum/136767-deployment-limits-tactical-warlightDeployment limits make Warlight better, more fun, more tactical, in almost every respect. (Seriously, if you haven't tried playing with some, you should. We have a growing community who refuse to play any other way.)
B. I also find the options to fool around with Card use interesting. I think an incredibly useful tool would be to include "always on" cards in a map/scenario. Effectively, there is a card which is automatically played by the system every turn. This could have all kinds of interesting uses, like enabling a player to have constant reinforcements, another player to have permanent sanctions, one player that everyone can "see" (a constant Spy card), parts of the map that are visible or revealed (Surveillance or, even better, Fog Cards -
https://www.warlight.net/Forum/107556-new-concept-fog-cards), a territory which Blockades itself every turn (you can pass through if you have enough armies, but it will Blockade itself once more "behind you"), and many other possibilities.
