The saddest part is that liberalism used to be a force for good, and it still can be. Unfortunately it's been tainted by a lot of insanity especially when it comes to "Social justice" issues.

Liberalism (in the american sense bc yolo) isn't an economic stance but a moral stance. One can be liberal and anti-state => a libertarian and a social conservative is the opposite.

I declared support for Trump because I believed Clinton was not just an existential threat to the world and myself through world war, but a conveyer belt going a hundred miles an hour to serfdom that would have ended me up in a position where I would have to evacuate the country if not during her reign then afterwards. I don't support Hofer, I just want to see Cata's reaction, and the destruction/rearrangement of the partially constructed European superstate continued.
