Actually, border walls have a surprisingly good success rate at keeping away the unwanted. As already mentioned, the Berlin Wall, as well as the Great Wall of China
first of all the berlin wall was built to stop the DDR population to illegally emigrate. and was not just a wall. it was rather a border zone with watch towers and snipers, a lot of barbed wire and self shooting devices.
The Wall of China was built to stop a military invasion. non of which was built to keep away immigrants.
It was also mentioned that 40% to 50% of illegal immigrants come by plane. criminal elements will not frighten off by a wall. so they will come anyways. this wall is just a retarded way to waste tax money.
and why not building a wall on the border to Canada? mexicans can easily come from there as well or from the sea. oh boy so many possibilities.=D
