Hi all,

I'm really enjoying the new single-player layout, but I have to say I'm finding it impossible to destroy the boss on level 9. I took over the whole map no problem, and now have 90 reinforcements per turn, but no matter how many hundreds of troops I throw at the boss, the figure displayed next to him always remains "300". Is there a hidden trick I'm supposed to figure out, or is there maybe a bug in this level?

Any hints would be much appreciated,

I completed it today, no such thing has happened.

It's strange, because I saw an old post by a level 1 player who said, "Thanks for making the lvl 9 boss impossible, now I don't want to play Warlight anymore" and everyone pounced on him for giving up too easily (which he may have done) but I think he might have been experiencing the same problem.

How do I bring this to the programmers' attention?

Ah! Silly me - I was supposed to use my own commander to wipe him out. Thanks for the responses, though. :o)

Okay, can we get a reply that is not bitchy about this issue. I too was able to capture a large portion of the map and had more replacement armies that anyone else but no matter what I threw at the Boss, his army count never went below 300, is there really something wrong or is there a secret that I can't figure out. I have tried several variations over the last six weeks or so but can't come close to beating this damn Boss....

If I recall correctly, the main boss starts with around 400 'hit points' and as such needs to be attacked by approximately 667 armies to kill it. Pretty straightforward.

Easiest way to manage this is to get him to a position where he only has one territory to attack and then emergency blockade a 100 army stack there. Should sufficiently weaken him.
