Yeah, well the whole point of the original post was to attack "Pro-gun folk"

Wrong. See, this is what has become of us- we are so polarized that we see even non-offensive statements that are seeking a compromise as attacks against a belief. I was not at all attacking "pro-gun folk", I was asking them a legitimate question out of curiosity, while also making it known that I am not among them.

Also, the Orlando shooting was a very small happening, it's just getting fearmongered on all sides to promote their agenda. Roughly 170k other folk died that day, so what? Even in America alone, this is insignificant.

The least you could do is offer an intelligent response if you're going to even bother to participate.

I had a coworker that bought his 4 year old a gun for protection. People should be required to take some sort of intelligence test. There's no reason a toddler needs a gun.

It is an intelligent response. Just because you disagree with it doesn't make it dumb. Get rekt Jew.

What, specifically, is intelligent about giving a toddler a gun?

Exactly. We need to bring back evolution if we want mankind to flourish. Plus, overpopulation will soon be a huge problem.

If the US was not born the way it was, I would not hesitate to be for the banning of guns that can do more than be a hunting tool. Alas, that is not the case.

Stricter background checks would be nice. Passing on guns to your child, or whoever, should also be done through the system, I think. There are way too many guns in the US now for me to see banning much of what legal firearms exist from the public as logical. We can say that if the AR-15 and similar weapons were banned, then the Orlando shooter would not have killed so many, or might not have attempted to kill, at all. On the other hand, we can just as easily say that if everyone in that bar, those fifty-some law abiding citizens, all had guns of their own, the Orlando shooter would not have killed many at all, and would reconsider even trying.

why stop there? Just ban all guns other than historic ones that are put in a muse. Any gun can be modified to be stronger, see the Adler lever-deed shotgun in Australia.

Cars don't hurt the environment. People who drive cars hurt the environment.

Not sure why we have all these stupid regulations.

For farmers, whose livestock and poultry are terrorized by coyotes and foxes, sometimes mountain lions.

For hunters, who keep animal populations in check and use the animals to feed families, saving a small, but satisfactory amount of money.

I don't think farmers regularly take potshots at coyotes or something, especially big corporate farms, and that's really cruel to the coyotes and foxes, who are just trying to live.

or extinguish them - and what does it mean, "in check"?

use the animals to feed families

uh no, that doesn't happen, in America, anyway. Maybe just for novelty of it, but it's 100% for fun. Furthermore, that's also extremely disrespectful to eat those who you have killed - as if it wasn't cruel enough to kill them, even if it was somehow needed.

Most folk find that disrespectful - do you want your body cooked and then eaten up after you're dead? I don't think your family would want that at all.
